Good pizza. Nice focaccia. Bad carbonara !

Pizza was thin and tasty without particularly rich sauce but nice. the focaccia was not thick (same thickness with pizza), however was tasty. Let’s go to the carbonara. Ugh. I’m not Italian but I had my fair share of carbonara since I moved to Italy. It is the first time I’ve seen a carbonara looking like scrambled eggs and pasta. Literally. Check the picture. I talked to the chef but my comprehension of Italian was poor since he didn’t speak English. the gist was that “this is how we do it in this restaurant” 🤷‍♀️ I personally find it very bad and unappetising both in flavour and looks. But if that’s sth you want to try well, this how they do it there.

we had a wonderful meal here late at night with our young kids, after a late flight into Milan. Massimo and Fulvia prepared delicious pizza and pasta and had a beautiful room ready for us next door at their B&B. For breakfast we were spoiled with good pastries and fresh eggs. They also had gluten free pizza, which we did not need but I'm sure others would appreciate. This was the most amazing welcome to a beautiful country. Thank you both for our lack of Italian language experience 💗 you are wonderful hosts.

abbiamo mangiato benissimo qui a tarda notte con i nostri bambini, dopo un volo per Milano. Massimo e Fulvia hanno preparato deliziose pizze e pasta e avevano una bellissima camera pronta per noi accanto nel loro B&B. A colazione siamo stati viziati con ottimi dolci e uova fresche. Questo è stato il benvenuto più straordinario in un bellissimo paese. Grazie ad entrambi per la nostra mancanza di esperienza nella lingua italiana? Siete dei padroni di casa...

Ci sono tornata sabato sera scorso dopo il lockdown, ho ritrovato l'accoglienza e la serenità di sempre. L'attenzione all'igiene in questo locale ha sempre avuto visibilmente priorità. Il distanziamento dei tavoli è garantito. Pizze buonissime in forno a legna, e una vasta scelta di piatti garantiscono opportunità per tutti i palati. L'ambiente è accogliente ed informale.

Merita una particolare menzione l'attenzione riservata ai cibi cucinati per chi ha problemi di intolleranze alimentari, ad esempio glutine e lattosio. Attenzione che inizia dal menu, molto chiaro e dettagliato, continua nella preparazione del personale che sa consigliare i piatti più indicati e si certifica in una cucina appositamente destinata.

Da segnalare la cura nella scelta della materia prima che spesso viene anche prodotta direttamente dai titolari dell'esercizio.
