Words fail me to describe this restaurant. The dining room is classic pulia elegance, vaulted ceilings of traditional stone, cool and pleasant. It's a modest sized dining room, the maitre dei is so pleasant, friendly and professional and sets the tone. The food, the food is amazing. I can't tell you just how good the food tasted for me and my wife. It's somewhat traditional with a modern, sophisticated edge. We have been in Pulia for two weeks and eaten in some really good places. This restaurant is on a different level. It's like a Michelin starred restaurant without the pomp and circumstance. If you like a superb dining experience give yourself a treat and visit.

Overall really delicious, in such a small town I cannot expect more! the price is very good for such high quality food and service.

To be a little critical some small details can make a big difference.

the sauce flavour is a little detached from the sashimi itself. Maybe personally I am too used to Edomae technics used in omakase so when I think of fine dining sashimi I relate my taste bud to aged sashimi instead of fresh sashimi so to speak.

2 the capellini is amazing, but in my dish the clam had sand inside so they were not waited in water for long enough or maybe it’s an accident, there is also small piece shell left inside cracking my teeth. ( sorry...

We loved the place. The food experience was great. Everything that we tried was delicious. The milaneze was my top favourite . The atmosphere was nice , quiet and calm. The staff was polite and trey explained every meal. We were with one of our boys at 5 and they managed to to cook something special for him. He also was happy. I would definitely recommend you to visit Grottaglie with the ceramic museum and then head to...

Mi ritrovo seduto al tavolo dello chef del Vez, dopo che per 5 anni di liceo sono stato seduto affianco ad Elisabetta, la co-proprietaria e responsabile di sala, un’amica, una sorella. Mi ritrovo al tavolo dello chef del Vez, dopo che per anni ho visto Mattia, lo chef, uscire dal suo recinto, affrontare cucine lontane e spesso, dopo essere stato onorato della sua cucina, ho intrattenuto con lui piacevolissime discussioni sulla cucina, mio grande amore amatoriale. Auguro a questi due ragazzi il meglio che questa loro creatura possa offrirgli. Il cibo qui è ricordo, è passione, è studio, è amore. Il servizio è una coccola. Tutto parla di viaggi, di Bologna, di casa, di Puglia. C’è la terra e il mare nelle loro complesse sfaccettature culinarie, ci sono le verdure, fondamenti della nostra terra. C’è il vino. Non c’è un piatto che non sia legato ad un emozione, ad un ricordo. Ho optato per il menù degustazione per farmi guidare meglio nei sapori, ma ogni piatto ti tenta dalla carta, sempre aggiornata ai cambiamenti della materia prima. Mi porto nel cuore il cubo di melanzana, una composizione di materie prime trattate in modo eccelso, che assieme rievocano in modo indelebile il sapore che mi accompagna da tutta la vita: la parmigiana di melanzane.
