Four of us had the pleasure of dining at Antico Ristoro Le Colombaie on a Thursday evening, and it was an experience to remember. While our lack of Italian presented a slight language barrier, the staff was incredibly accommodating, making sure we could navigate the menu and enjoy the meal fully.
We began with the flan and artichoke appetizers, both of which were beautifully presented and delicious. For mains, we savored the carbonara and boar ragu pastas, as well as the boar shank and beef filet. Each dish was expertly prepared, showcasing the flavors of the region with finesse.
Dessert was a triumph as well, and our waitress impressed us with her patience and knowledge, guiding us through the options. The house red wine was a perfect complement to the meal, rich and full-bodied without being overpowering.
