Dining at Olivium in San Miniato was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our vacation – a true hidden gem nestled in picturesque olive groves, and absolutely worth seeking out.
The restaurant offers three thoughtfully curated menus: two four-course options (one focused on fish, the other on meat) and an extended five-course tasting menu. Before the main courses, a generous selection of fresh bread (including cecina pie) and high-quality olive oil was served – a delightful and promising start to the evening.
I chose the meat menu, and every single course was exceptional. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the presentation was elegant and refined, and the quality of ingredients was outstanding. Each wine pairing complemented the dishes beautifully, showcasing a deep understanding of harmony between food and wine.
The service was flawless – warm, attentive, and thoroughly professional. You can tell that both the kitchen and front-of-house teams work with passion and precision.
