I received as a present the incredible cheese making experience followed by the all included visit to the cheeses’ refrigeration rooms and Tasting!! Erika lead us in the cheese making experience, explaining the main steps, before actually making with our hands some cheeses! Awesome!!! (There was also a couple with their daughter, who super enjoyed it!) After approximately 1hour of cheese making, we were ready to bring back home some cheeses to take care of (for some days) and then to taste with family and friends!! We were able to book a tour at the end of the day despite them being very busy and were shown around by the lovely and enthusiastic Giorgia. She explained the history of the site, how cheese is made and how they are developing and experimenting with new types of cheese all the time. Afterwards we were talked through 4 cheese and 4 wines choose specifically for the cheeses which were all wonderful. We then decided to stay and purchased a further cheese board, bottle of wine and salads. The service was very good, the cheese was superb and we had a very enjoyable evening. Unassuming from the outside, this shop sits above the production of some of the best cheese I've ever had! We heard the history of the company, walked through the cheese making process, and used more than just taste to experience some of their cheeses. Our guide was Linda, who was very personable, speaks English well, and is clearly passionate about these cheeses and all that it took to make them.
