Pizzeria Forno In Frasca — Restaurant in San Salvatore Monferrato

Such an amazing restaurant if you favour flavour over anything else. Such an unassuming place with humble & very genuinely warm staff.

The view from the rear covered area over the valley is breathtaking.

The chef took our order & had lots of recommendations. You can tell he really loves food (apparently he learnt in Napoli & he trains chefs). If the chef recommends something, please try it, your taste buds won't regret it. He recommended a starter of roasted vegetables because we were starving (which wasn't even on the menu) ... only what arrived was a variety of mini fried breaded balls of arancini, or lemon-infused potato. So delicious!

Also he recommended this pizza sandwich (PANUOZZO) with pulled pork. I wasn't sure at first because I was so hungry ... but every bite was such a gorgeous pleasure & very filling as it was packed with juicy slow roasted barbecue pork.

Plus I had some of my wife's fried pizza (PIZZA FRITTA) with sausage & vegetables. Just lovely.

All of the main dishes were huge & very filling. We couldn't finish most of the pizzas & had to take them home because we didn't want to waste such fine fluffy real Neapolitan pizza.

6 of us (4 adults & 2 children) had 6 main meals too with 3 litres of water, 2 cokes, 2 coffees ... & it came up to € 86! Great value!!!

I felt so pleasurable after the meal, like sitting on warm water on a floating lilo / blow-up chair. Just a joy of an evening.

Non la conoscevo. Ho cercato una pizzeria nei pressi di Alessandria e questa mi ha stupito per i voti eccellenti e le immagini della pizza. Devo dire che entrando si respira l'aria della vera pizzeria napoletana. Ad iniziare dall'ambiente, spartano ma accogliente, ed il personale gioviale e sorridente. Sicuramente per la pizza "napoletana" con impasto eccezionale, alta morbida e croccante, condita abbondantemente e con ingredienti di qualità! Per i miei figli cotoletta e patatine ( con altre varianti di carne nel menù, che non vi consiglio, data la qualità della pizza!!). E per finire in veracita', ottimo il caffè, (perché di solito nei ristoranti è quasi sempre bruciato /pessimo) e prezzi popolari, onestissimi. Via dei Tribunali... a S. Salvatore!!
