Smoke — Restaurant in San Severino Marche

I have no idea how I’m going to survive living across an ocean from Smoke.

First, the service. We had a large (American) party in town for a wedding and asked for a large party reservation which was kindly accepted. We were never without wine, water, or hot food on the table. Everything was perfect counted, coursed, and served. Our waiters and the owner, Giorgio, took excellent care of us with their fantastic recommendations.

Second, the FOOD. I’ve never had better barbecue, steak, or smoked meats in my life. I’ve eaten all the best “BBQ” spots and states in the USA. This put them all to shame. Melt in your mouth, flavorful food. My smash burger was delectable. Everything was perfectly balanced, crunchy and tender and I could go on and on. I’ve also never had better wings. Then, the PERFECT tiramisu. Many in our party said it was the best they had in Italy.

The wings were such a hit, we asked to order over 300 for our rehearsal dinner. The people were ELATED when we told them, and Giorgio once again delivered excellent food and service. There wasn’t a wing left.

Smoke will go down in our wedding week as legendary. It’s not often you go to Italy to eat something not “Italian” but Smoke is a can’t miss. Whenever we make our way back to Le Marche, Smoke will be our first stop. Thank you for the delicious food and...

Food was excellent, and portions were about the right size. I had the brisket, it was tender with a nice smoke ring. The crust was well seasoned, and the BBQ sauce had a good balance between heat and sweetness.

Beer selection was brilliant. A decent IPA and lager on tap, and a fridge full of cans and bottles. Good range of beers, mostly local (I highly recommend any of Molesto's beers, especially the English IPA and American Pils).

Service was superb, food was brought out in a timely manner. I was part of a party of almost 30, but did not phase the waitstaff in the slightest. Staff were all lovely, and gave me some great beer recommendations.

Everything from the appetizers, main dishes of pulled pork, ribs, and brisket, to the pleasantness of the staff and the owner was excellent. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone. Five stars all around from all five diners at our table!
