Enoteca De Goth — Restaurant in Sant'Agata de' Goti

We ducked in here for a way to escape the rain on a Sunday afternoon, and were so very glad that we did!

It’s a cute place with a great selection of wines (and some beers) by the bottle, but they have a small sitting area with a menu for tasting local favorites, all at very reasonable prices!

We had a glass each of wine, and shared the charcuterie board for two - it was plenty of food! (A lot of meats, and yet the cheese was our favorite - next time we’ll ask for extra cheese!)

The lady of the house also brought us out meatballs and the most delicious creamy bean soup I’ve ever had! I will return for the soup alone!

Then we tried the local apple liquor and it was the most beautiful color - and taste!

This was a hidden little gem, I suggest you try it.

Just beware, even if you didn’t order it (like the meatballs and soup) it’ll be on your bill?! Which is fine, they were less than €10 combined, but we weren’t...

Vabbè, da andarci assolutamente! A parte riscoprire un nucleo d’importanza architettonica e paesaggistica, nei vicoli interni di Sant’Agata de Goti, v’imbattirete in Antonio.
