Ristorante Natale in Sant’Agata is, without a doubt, the most incredible dining experience I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything, from the warm welcome to the final bite, was nothing short of exceptional.
We ordered a selection of traditional Sicilian dishes: arancini, zucchini flowers, meatballs, eggplant parmigiana, ricotta with honey and walnuts, caponata, and the most amazing chicken and roasted potatoes I’ve had in my life. Every single dish was bursting with flavor, and the freshness and authenticity of the ingredients shone through in every mouthful. The caponata, in particular, was out of this world; rich, perfectly balanced, and easily the best I’ve ever tasted. Dessert and lemon sorbetto were also DELICIOUS!
The atmosphere of the restaurant is elegant yet inviting, with a timeless charm that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into something truly special. It was also spotlessly clean and comfortably air-conditioned, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable, especially on a hot Sicilian day. It’s clear that this is a family-run restaurant filled with heart and heritage.
The chef is a true artist, you can genuinely taste the love and passion in every bite. It’s rare to experience food that feels this personal, this lovingly prepared, and this absolutely delicious.
The service was just as exceptional as the food. Our waitress was incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and kind, making sure we were comfortable and well cared for throughout the entire meal.

Read moreThis will probably be the most mixed review I ever had to write... Location: really nice. There is a possibility to park very close to the restaurant and they also have a ramp if you ever need to get in there with a wheelchair or a stroller (I don't think I've seen another restaurant with a ramp so far in Sant'agata)! Staff: really friendly and ready to help you in any way they can.
Now comes the tricky part: what about the food? Well....it goes from very tasty to "meh...I definitely had better somewhere else". Let me explain. We had a group of 4 people. I had the pasta with saumon and nuts, which I really enjoyed. Other people had some fish dishes which didn't quite live to their expectations. Don't get me wrong: it was ok. But not great. They said they tasted the same dish in another restaurant which they enjoyed more.
All in all it was ok. Would I go back? For the pasta: absolutely! For the fish (totani) probably not.

Ottimo il pesce, freschissimo e cucinato nel pieno rispetto delle norme e del cibo stesso, cucinato in modo leggero per un risultato gustoso e digeribile. Buona anche la carne, con ottima carne selezionata e un ottimo pollo piastrato. Ottima la carta dei vini. Il servizio viene gestito al momento dell'ordine direttamente dallo chef che saprà consigliarvi sulla scelta e sulla tipologia di cottura.
