This little gem is an absolute must if you are in the Sorrento/Sant’Angelo area. Sabrina (the owner along with her husband, the chef) have made this an experience you will remember. She, herself, greeted us with the warmest of welcomes. Sadly, the menu was shortened as her husband had injured his hand and unable to cook, however that didn’t deter us from enjoying what was available. We dined as a family of 4 and she had something for everyone. She would “capture the moon” for us, adjusting anything on the menu to meet our needs and wants.
We ended up dining here twice in our 4 days (stayed just up the road). We enjoyed the pizza (best in Italy, in my opinion), avocado salad, tomato salad, and Sabrina’s own alcoholic drink specials. Her waiting staff were just as pleasant as Sabrina herself.
The atmosphere is warm and somewhat romantic, but appropriate for all occasions. And prices are fair. We can’t say enough wonderful things about Sabrina and her “home” as she calls it.
Wishing her husband a speedy recovery and sad we weren’t able to enjoy some of the more elaborate dishes. If we return to Italy, Sant’Angelo will be on our list so that we can return to...
Read moreSabrina, the owner and manager of the front of the house warmly greeted me right as I stepped in with a bright smile. She directed me to the back and explained the layout of the different areas available like the bar and garden.
I had to have the house specialty which was the crab and spaghetti, which was delicious if a bit messy, but they kindly bib you so just be aware if you're taking a date!
I also had a very nicely prepared salad which you can dress yourself with olive oil and balsamic vinegar provided on the table.
The table bread was nice and fresh, great for sipping up oils, and Sabrina shared her special liquor as a digestive which had such a lovely smell and flavour it was a wonderful finish to the meal.
Sabrina's husband is the chef, they seem to really love what they've built, which extends to the rest of the wait staff who were equally warm, accomodating, and kind.
I suspect there are many more great things to eat here so I wish I had more time to try them all.

Sabrina, the owner, greeted us promptly before we were seated. She was overflowing with energy and hospitality, and takes great pride in her restaurant. Her husband is the chef and very skilled. We had rolls of smoked salmon and apple, a pizza, and the sliced angus beef. All were beautifully prepared and quite tasty. Sabrina continued to check on us personally and also had us try several of their homemade liquors, including a wonderful “witch” digestive, a local liquor with associated lore, that I HIGHLY recommend. We also tried white chocolate and apple liquors, the last complements of the house. Sabrina even sent us away with a gift of limoncello and introduced us to her husband. How sweet of her!! Definitely check out this place with great food and even better hospitality. You’ll feel...
