Bar Trattoria Pizzeria Da Gino E Gina — Restaurant in Santa Luce

My absolute favourite restaurant ! At Gino & Gina you can eat the best Pizza, but also a very good piece of meat or other Tuscan specialties of course all accompanied by a selection of very good wine ! One of my personal favourites: I Ravioli di Gino ! Not only do they have amazing Lunch & Dinner, but their breakfast is incredible too ! The freshest croissants & sandwiches wait for you accompanied by the best coffee in town ! My family and I go to Gino & Gina’s restaurant since over 6 years now and love that we always find the same top quality. The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant and terrace but also the fact that its family run makes you feel welcome and at home.

We had a wonderful evening at Gino and Gina. This is a lovely family restaurant where everyone is friendly and the food taste amazing. It was our last vacation day and it was the best meal we have had in Tuscany. The way up this village is stunning with the typical landscapes just like in the movies and then you end up in this hidden gem of a restaurant where the locals gather in the evening (that says a lot) and everyone is extremely king and nice. Io e mia moglie, dopo aver trovato per caso questa trattoria in una gita di un giorno ad Agosto, dove avevamo gustato due ottimi panini con pecorino e prosciutto preparati sul momento visto che la cucina era chiusa, siamo tornati a privare un vero pranzo, visto che le premesse erano state ottime. In primis c’è da dire che ci si sente in famiglia e soprattutto a casa, visto l’ambiente curato e accogliente. Il servizio è stato veloce e cortese, dandoci ogni assistenza sul menù, che come nei migliori ristoranti ha poche cose ma ottime! Essendo periodo di funghi e sapendo che la signora Gina è una esperta, abbiamo optato per tagliatelle ai funghi porcini, seguito da un filetto anch’esso ai porcini. Beh, direi ottimo entrambi per gusto, quantità e presentazione. Infine ci siamo viziati con il tiramisù davvero speciale del signor Gino e una torta della nonna con una calda crema racchiusa in una croccate frolla. Gustare cucina toscana (e c’erano coniglio alla cacciatora, zuppa, pappardelle al cinghiale..) e alzarsi dal tavolo sentendosi non appesantiti vuol dire che le pietanze sono state fatte con maestria e che la qualità delle materie prime è ottima.
