Pizza&Buoi — Restaurant in Santa Maria la Carità

A nice, not too big place, where you can get one of the best Pizza in the whole Naples/Sorrento area. The proprietor is a very nice and friendly man, who is very helpful in case you should perhaps be indecisive in your choice. The Antipasti - Frittura Mista Italiana, in our case - were excellent, as was the Prosciutto Crudo that the Chef also made for us - and we were glad that the "Chef" propsed an excellent wine (Red) that came perfect with our dinner. It was the second time I was there - I had already told my friends "that I have to go back to Pizza e Buoi" when I would be in the Castellamare area - and so we did - and - I will surely also come back there again, whenever...

Ci hanno rovinato la serata:Arrivo e gentilmente chiedo quanto tempo d'attesa fosse previsto. Mi dicono: "10/15 minuti e vi faccio accomodare". Restiamo fuori la porta ad aspettare. Dopo 1/2 ora chiedo delucidazioni e una ragazza mi dice che si sta liberando un tavolo.Dopo altri 20 minuti quella stessa ragazza mi risponde infastidita e mi fa capire che devo aspettare ancora. Quando il tavolo si libera resta 10 minuti non sparecchiato con almeno 20 persone fuori ad aspettare. Dopodiché fanno accomodare un tavolo da 4 che evidentemente aveva prenotato. Da lí in poi si liberano almeno 3 tavoli e fanno accomodare gruppi appena arrivati che avevano prenotato. Ore 22.45, dopo piú di un'ora e mezza d'attesa ce ne andiamo affamati e fortemente infastiditi. Io capisco che non avendo prenotato non potevamo pretendere di sederci subito ma almeno non prendeteci in giro. "Solo 10 minuti" "Adesso vi faccio accomodare" "Si sta liberando un tavolo". Ditemi che c'é da aspettare 1 o 2 ore e mi metto l'anima in pace.Sono passati almeno 10 tavoli davanti a noi. É vero che non avevamo prenotato ma stavamo lí da...

There is too much oil on the pizza marinara. The other’s were good. The limoncello is nice as well. The waiter was kind and helpful. I like that you can see the pizza people work with the big oven. The place is nice and clean, but not great acoustics. I would probably come back though and just order a...
