Vegan Home Restaurant - Sesamo & Mirto — Restaurant in Sassari

I always wanted to try Michelin restaurant. I have not suceeded yet but eating in this place was exactly how I always imagined it. The food was so fresh and delicous, several courses, with each one the expectation was only raising, the owners were very nice, warm and at the same time professional. Telling us something about each meal they served us. I have tried many vegan places and many of them were great. But so far this one is the best I have ever tried. Danielle and Lorena were great hosts and so helpful. They were fully booked for the day we wanted to go but they managed to offer us an alternative date which we gratefully accepted. We were one of two couples on the night and had a great time. They were both knowledgeable on vegan food and gave us advice on what to see and do while on the island.

The food was both typical Sardinia but also inventive and modern. There was nothing that we didn't love and I would go back in a heartbeat and we will when we are next in Sardinia.

The evening was not just eating dinner, it was a full vegan food experience! The combinations of flavours are a delight, each course is a new surprise. The hospitality of Sésamo & Mirto's is the cherry on top of the cake.

Also, we made friends with the other guests! Two lovely couples: Sardinian and Canadian.

You have to try this. This is the most positive review I've ever written, and I stand by every word.
