L'Ortiché — Restaurant in Sauze d'Oulx

I recently dined at Ortiche and I have to say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From start to finish, every meal was delicious and exceeded my expectations.

The menu was diverse and offered a wide range of options, from traditional dishes to more unique and creative offerings. I particularly enjoyed the appetizers, which were beautifully presented and full of flavor. The entrees were also outstanding, with perfectly cooked meats and fresh, seasonal vegetables. And the desserts were simply divine - I couldn't resist trying more than one!

The service was also top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, and they made sure that every aspect of our dining experience was enjoyable.

This restaurant is little gem hidden away in the Piazza Terzo in the beautifully quaint alpine village of Sauze D'oulx. It offers fine dining at an affordable price in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. My personal choice was a starter of beautifully cooked king prawns wrapped in bacon, a second course of pasta in a mushroom truffle sauce followed by a tender piece of rabbit wrapped around freshly cooked spinach served with seasonal vegetables. The desert was not to be missed, a smooth, creamy and delicious home-made ice cream. Of course there are many dishes to cater for all tastes. I usually don't write reviews, but for the great service Jill and her crew presented, I had to go out of my way. We are a few boys from Israel that came to the area, Jill welcomed us warmly, opened her place and her heart, stayed around the table and answered each of our questions with an unbelievable patience. The combination of the best dishes we had around, and Jill's special care for us, I felt I was eating in my mother's kitchen once again. To the Israelis that see this review that keep Kosher, I have to add that Jill put her best efforts to provide with a special menu for us of all the products and dishes that are in the Kosher standards. I will definitely come again in the future....
