RISTORANTE Etoile Des Neiges — Restaurant in Sauze d'Oulx

Seen this place online and said we’d give it a go. We didn’t book a table and arrived at 20:20, was told to come back in 30 minutes for a table which we expected. We arrived back at 20:50 and was left standing there until 21:20…being completely ignored by all members of staff walking past us and seating what seemed like the locals first. I would have had no issues with being turned away in the first place but to be told to come back in 30 minutes to then be left standing for a further 30 minutes is crazy. At this stage we decided to walk out but as most restaurants close at 22:00 we were left stuck trying to find somewhere else. The restaurant itself seemed lovely and I’m sure the food would have been good if we had the chance to try it.. Overall this restaurant had horrific service and I would advise all to stay clear and try out one of the closer restaurants...

A wonderful restaurant that has a traditional look and feel with some contemporary food options. We visited this restaurant over school half term and the food and service was excellent. They have all the usual things you woudl expect that our children loved but they also offer some really interesting options too. We had the risotto with Barolo wine reduction - which was superb. The service is professional and well organised.

At the end of the meal we were unable to book a taxi back to our hotel in the other side of the resort and the restaurant manager asked her husband to personally give us a lift back. Thats service at another level. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful meal...

We had pizza and were unfortunately not very impressed. Not bad, by no means, but not special either. To be honest, the small village in Seeden (where I live) has better pizzas.
