Sono stato ieri a cena presso Artegaia, il giorno di San Valentino, per festeggiare con la mia ragazza. Arrivati ci accoglie un posto molto bello, con una vista fantastica, quindi ci sediamo e aspettiamo. Dopo 15 minuti riusciamo ad ordinare, e riceviamo gli antipasti dopo mezz’ora circa. Io terra lei mare, al primo assaggio scopro che avevano scambiato tortino di pesce con quello di patate, quindi mi sono trovato pesce in un piatto di carne e viceversa😅. Inoltre in ogni caso in quello di terra mancavano porcini e in quello di mare fonduta (nessuno ci aveva detto che non ci sarebbero stati) ma abbiamo pagato i piatti a prezzo pieno. Una volta sparecchiato scopro di avere il bicchiere rotto, e avviso il cameriere che non se ne era manco accorto. Iniziamo a notare che tutta la sala non riceve piatti, servizio lento, poco attento, portano piatti e non ci sono le posate a tavola, in un posto dove la media di prezzo è 25 euro a piatto è follia. Insomma dopo un ora (Arrivati alle 20:00 a tavola/ i secondi arrivati alle 22:15) arrivano questi secondi molto buoni ma non ci hanno mai sparecchiato i piatti, e dopo due sigarette e esserci fatti passare la voglia di un dolce, che comunque non ci è stato proposto visto la situazione che anche per gli altri commensali si andava prolungando, abbiamo chiesto due caffè ancora con i piatti del secondo in tavola, e mi sono avvicinato alla cassa per pagare. Nel mentre abbiamo scherzato con altri commensali della situazione tragicomica della serata. è qui che succede l’incredibile. Mi viene inserito un piatto in più nello scontrino e poiché il cameriere non sa utilizzare il gestionale della cassa ho dovuto attendere 10 minuti pure per pagare perché lo chef era l’unico in grado di farmi stornare un piatto (26 euro) in più. Torno a tavola e attendo, continuando a ridere con persone a tavola che alle 22:30 hanno avuto il primo. Quando finalmente riusciamo a pagare scopro che abbiamo pure speso tanto 146 euro, ma ci vengono tolti 16 per l’inconveniente dell’antipasto e bicchiere. Una volta saliti in macchina eravamo sulla strada del ritorno e ci accorgiamo che non era stata stornata la tartare di tonno da 26 euro. Sono dovuto tornare indietro a richiederli. Peccato davvero, posto molto bello e materia prima di qualità, ma servizio fatto con i piedi e una lentezza tale che credo che anche gli altri commensali siano tornati a casa con l’amaro in bocca più che con il ricordo di una bella serata: Era San Valentino.

P.S: Abbiamo richiesto il pane per finire gli antipasti e il cameriere più giovane è così alle prime armi che ci ha portato il pane e ci voleva sparecchiare...

Lovely restaurant in a nice and quiet setting.

Everything is worth recommending but the place specializes in seafood so that's probably your best choice. You can actually tell the seafood dishes are made a little bit extra special, designed and cooked to perfection.

Grilled octopus with special sauces was absolute treat. Super crispy, tasty, tender and cooked to perfcetio, it felt almost like eating a juicy chicken.

Also the new server that joined this restaurant not too long ago was extremely nice, polite and happy to help with anything. Also spoke English and was happy even to chat a bit during his short brake.

I'd strongly recommend trying this place for fish lovers but not only - there is something nice to try...

The place is not easy to find, with no sign on the street to show where to go. The restaurant is located on a hill with a panoramic view where you can enjoy the sunset. Service is good. The food however did not meet our expectations. We are vegetarians and picked this place because they have several vegetarian dishes on the menu. The porcini flan was ok, the broccoli pesto pasta had a very delicate taste which could have been more decisive. The couscous with asparagus and tzatziki was tasteless. The caprese was too simple and not worth the money we paid for it. Our carnivore companion said the seafood pasta was too salty. For what we paid we expected dishes of a much higher level, or at...

What a gem! We were early for our check in at the house we are staying in. Found on Google. Sat outside overlooking their garden and the beautiful hillsides. Our waiter was very pleasant and attentive. We had potato gnocchi with asparagus and clams. Extremely fresh asparagus and clams were cooked to perfection. I had what was called pomador Daisy. Fabulous round ravolli stuffed with cheese, pine nuts and greens with a rich and creamy tomato sauce with sundried tomatoes. Burst of flavors. It was such a wonderful place - please try. It is out of the way, but Google maps got us right there. Parking lot is just before the entrance....up a little incline.

I recommend only an interesting mix of seafood starters and seafood pasta but the dishes is too expensive. I do not recommend octopus, the dish is expensive and awful. I ate the worst octopus there. Wine is also too expensive. Tempted by high ratings, but in my opinion the restaurant is overrated.
