Osteria Due Spade — Restaurant in Schio

The wine arrived and was excellent and so too was the Asparagus anti-pasto. Then my first course of ravioli with parmagian cheese had a dried tomato flavour, not what i had expected from the explaination of the waiting staff. My second was ribs cooked at low temperature, which i had expected to be soft and juicy, instead thet were toasted and dry. Even though i was hungry after skipping lunch i sent the plate back. The waitress did not ask me why. I then ordered an antipasto because the asparagus was good. The second antipasto was centered on grilled aged salami, which again I sent back because it was not good. Then the bill arrived without the second anti-pasto which was good but included the ribs second course which i had not eaten. My conclusion was the place served bad food and the statff were in-competant and/or dis-honest,

Sono stato in questa trattoria molto caratteristica c’erano sia stranieri e sia indigeni ma non posso dire di essere rimasto soddisfatto poiché avevo chiesto una fetta di carne di media cottura e mi è arrivata al sangue, vabbè l’ho mangiata lo stesso però visto che il contorno era la polenta che già c’era nell antipasto avevo chiesto al posto della polenta che era il contorno della carne dei finocchi arrostiti ma la cameriera mi ha portato il piatto come io non l’ho chiesto: carne al sangue e polenta. Quando le ho fatto notare che io avevo chiesto i carciofi mi ha portato i carciofi in un piatto a parte, forse pensava che non volevo pagare i 4€ del contorno in più? L’avrei pagato lo stesso però almeno non si buttava la polenta! Alla fine si sono buttati sia i carciofi che la polenta! La polenta già l’avevo mangiata e i carciofi non erano semplicemente arrostiti come c’era scritto sul menu ma bensì navigavano in una salsina bianca che non ho capito se era panna o besciamella perché era completamente nn sapore. Niente dolce solo caffè! Altra cosa che non mi è piaciuta che la Coca-Cola mi è stata servita in un bicchiere non ho capito se hanno una bottiglia grande e ti fanno pagare 3€ un bicchiere di Coca-Cola oppure l’ha versata e mi ha portato direttamente il bicchiere già versato… cosa ingiusta de mi fai pagare una bibita 3€ alla fine un antipasto un secondo inca Coca-Cola e un acqua ho pagato 38€. Ma poi ho fatto una richiesta molto tranquilla del pane tostato in accompagnamento alla carne, la cameriera mi ha guardato e con una faccia molto drammatica mi ha risposto che non sapeva se era fattibile… fattibile?! Del pane tostato? Bha sinceramente non lo consiglierei anche se la carne era buona tutto il resto non...

I was Regretting entering this restaurant, the ribs that they served to me was not fresh at all, it was obvious that they just wormed it in microwave.. I was even wondering why it came very quickly like that ?? Maybe because am a Tourist and don’t speak Italian!!! It is a shame. Anyway i don’t advise to go...
