Disappointing Service – Felt Overlooked as a Visitor I’m not usually one to leave negative reviews, but this experience left me frustrated. I came for dinner on a Sunday and ended up waiting nearly two hours for two pizzas. While a long wait can be understandable if the atmosphere is pleasant and the staff attentive, that unfortunately wasn’t the case. It took almost 30 minutes for a waiter to take our order — something I could accept if the restaurant was very busy. However, we noticed that several tables who arrived after us received their food much faster. For example, the table next to ours had their pizzas within 15 minutes, and another table that arrived significantly later also got served ahead of us. Even takeaway orders were being fulfilled quickly — some customers came in and left with 10 pizzas in about 20 minutes. The common factor? All these faster-served customers appeared to be locals. Throughout the wait, no one came to check on us or offer additional drinks. My beer was finished within the first half hour, and staff continued to pass our table without acknowledging us — often stopping to casually chat with other local guests. It reached a point where the table next to us had already finished dessert while we were still waiting, and even they seemed to feel awkward on our behalf. Eventually, I had to go inside the restaurant to ask about our order. Only then did the waitress apologize, and we received our pizzas about 15 minutes later. I’m giving 2 stars only because the pizza itself was decent, though not the best I’ve had in the area. Overall, the food might be okay, but as a visitor, the service made me feel unwelcome and invisible.
