While walking the Via Francigena decided to stop and have a morning coffee. Big mistake. Two capicinos and one small piec of cake ... 8 Euros. Way overcharged for a very typical morning snack. Plus besides being the only people in the place they did not seem to care, took forever for the poor quality capicinos, and the place where we were sitting was dirty ( tabletops/floors) plus chickens waking through and up on our tile.

We got two menus and waited 25min and no one came to take our orders. They kept acknowledging us but never actually took an order. Only when we got up and started getting ready to leave did someone offer to take our order....

Posto molto alla mano ma caratteristico. Ottimo come ristoro durante una lunga camminata o biciclettata sulla molto suggestiva via francigena. Aperitivo con precetto fritti, pane e salame e fiori di zucca con calice di bianco e caffè il tutto a 7 euro sotto un caldo sole primaverile e affacciati sul Po. Vale la pena. Adatto anche come appoggio per colazione al sacco portata da casa, chiedono 2 euro .... come nelle vecchie e vere hostaria dei tempi andati.
