1 star is too much for this joke of a restaurant. I hardly take time to write reviews however this place offers terrible service and attitude from the staff is what they do best. I made reservations to celebrate a birthday, we arrived and a nice table #2 was assigned to us. It was in a nice shaded area which was perfect with the current heat wave. As we were ready to take place we were asked to move to another area (in the hot sun) because our table was now assigned to someone else. The reason was that the others made reservations before us, however we arrived 1st. Definitely because these were regulars or friends of the staff as we noticed them whispering something to each other. Our waiter did not seem to care, we decided to leave and eat elsewhere. A customer service course could definitely help out your business. We come to Italy a lot and this is by far the worst establishment I ever set foot in. Great place if you are looking for italian homestyle cooking. Especially fantastic were the homemade cavatelli. In between coarses you can even take a stroll down the path to the ancient Roman archaeological site of Saepinum. Keep in mind that this is not a fancy restaurant. A few of the times I have eaten here, I had very kind but inexperienced waitstaff who were easily overwhelmed. So depending on how busy they are, you might need to be patient. However, I highly recommend making time and eating here! After all, were else can you eat great food and explore ancient wonders at...

Pessima esperienza: dopo aver telefonato per prenotare ed averci detto che avevano disponibilità di un tavolo per due, in perfetto orario eravamo lì; il titolare ci ha subito detto che di lì a 5 minuti si sarebbe liberato un tavolo che aspettava il conto... ma attendiamo ben 20 minuti, e niente!! Ad un certo punto, sempre il titolare, fa letteralmente una scena dicendo ad una cameriera che, sempre un tavolo da due aveva chiesto il conto e che quindi, lei avrebbe dovuto liberarlo e sistemarlo per noi due, la cameriera era alquanto confusa in quanto ovviamente sapeva benissimo che nessuno stava andando via, a quel punto attendiamo ancora altri 20 minuti e niente. Ad un totale quindi di 40 minuti di attesa in piedi dove nessuno di loro si era premurato né di scusarsi, né di offrire qualcosa da bere... e mentre avevano fatto accomodare due gruppi da tre ignorando completamente che noi stessimo attendendo da più tempo, chiedo ad una delle cameriere quanto ancora c'era da aspettare e lei dice che deve chiedere al titolare... va lì a parlargli per ben due volte, la sentiamo mentre gli dice "Vedi cosa devi dire ai signori, vai da loro!", lui si è letteralmente rifiutato lasciandoci ancora lì in attesa, a quel punto vista la mancanza di rispetto ma soprattutto la presa per i fondelli ce ne siamo andati via.
