Delicious, cosy local restaurant - if you are looking for Italian home cooking, in a relaxed setting, with lots of truffle options, this is the place.

We bumped into this restaurant on our way and visited it with our 3 kids. You know how difficult it is to find a menu where kids also like stuff - although with pasta it is more easier.

My hubby and I ordered a started to share - the ricotta with tomatoes and steak tartare with truffels. The kids had ravioli with ricotta in tomato sauce and tagliatelle with ragu (similar to bolognese sauce). Everything was just delicious.

They have many wines on the list - we had the house wine which was good quality. For kids there is just water, but for our kids this was perfect.

The ambiance is very inviting too. We opted to sit outside, in the old castle wall. There is a beautiful little terrace which overlooks the green hill. You get to there by passing through the restaurant’s colorful staircase.

The manager was friendly and his staff as well. We loved everything. Recommended, even if you are...

Finding myself in Serra San Quirico, I decided to eat,for lunch, at Le Copertelle, the only restaurant in the historic center of the town. Traditional cuisine, without too many designs on the plate, presented simply. Everything is tasteful, without too many frills, like the service: essential, and with a perpetual smile, plastered on her face. Interesting wine list. Worth mentioning, that I had not reserved, finding a seat easily: instead they were full, with two groups... even. The owner, friendly and attentive, gave me the last available...

Absolutely one of the best meals ever. The food was fresh, delicious and handmade (the pasta is made fresh on site). The owner was thoughtful and generous. The views were beautiful. Don’t think I could’ve asked for more.

We had the ricotta and mushroom plate to start. Then the pappardelle with duck, pappardelle with boar ragu and wild boar tortellini - a transformational experience. To finish we had the tiramisu, ricotta chocolate cake and a panacotta with wine sap. All in all a...
