Osteria Amici Miei — Restaurant in Serravalle Pistoiese

My husband and I are from Canada. We were staying at a nearby hotel and decided to check this place out. It is a small neighbourhood restaurant. When we arrived we were the first seated. We were greeted with a warm welcome. The server gave us some Prosecco and a small bite while we looked at the menu. Every dish we had here was delicious! Absolutely stunning. Supremely warm and welcoming, even with the language barrier. Menu is creative and diverse with tastes for everyone. The drinks, entrée, vino forte with biscotti and the following lemoncello was outstanding, local wine superb. Kleines aber Feines Toskanisches Restaurant

Während unseres Urlaubs in der Toskana stießen wir auf dieses etwas abseits gelegene kleine Restaurant. Von außen eher unscheinbar, erwartet einen im inneren ein gemütliches kleines Restaurant. Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich, und man wird mit einem Apperetiv und einem kleinen Gruß aus der Küche empfangen.

Die Speisekarte ist in Fleisch und Meeresfrüchte aufgeteilt. Typisch für die Region ist diese sehr fleischlastig, vegetarisch wäre möglich, vegan jedoch soweit ich es beurteilen kann nicht.

Für uns war dies kein Problem, wir bekamen auch eine Empfehlung des Wirtes, und mit Englisch und ein bisschen Italienisch kam man gut durch.

Die von uns bestellte Vorspeisen und Hauptspeisen kann ich ohne Übertreibung zu den besten zählen, die wir während unserer Zwei Wochen in der Toskana gegessen haben. Preislich liegt das Restaurant im Mittelfeld, und war absolut angemessen.

Wenn man in der Nähe ist (Pistoia, Prato), lohnt sich ein Besuch dort auf jedenfall. Einziges Manko: Es gibt keinen Gastgarten. Sonst aber sehr...
