What a wonderful place to eat! Very authentic and high quality food for a very reasonable price. We were on our way to France and stopped here for lunch thanks to tripadvisor review. Restaurant excedeed our expectations. Very kind/friendly people there. They made a mistake since they forgot to prepare a dish because it was sold out, so they apologized and you can tell they really felt sorry about it. Then we made another dish choice and they didn’t charge it. We said it was not needed because this things can happen and we wery really satisfied with everything but they still they insisted and didn’t charge it. I have dined at Ar Dou Veje three times in the past year and every time has been a very special treat! The large dish of homemade and delicious bread, focaccia and bread sticks starts the experience off on a high note. Our order has been taken by the same gentile woman. If she is not the owner then she seems to care as much as an owner would. We ordered the steak this past time and agnolotti in a sage and butter sauce.
