The place is amazing! There way up there it’s an attraction itself ; ) once you get there you have this breathtaking view at Como lake and Alps! Really good food and they have two dogs and a cat; all friendly and not disturbing you if you don’t want them to. But the biggest advantage are the people who run the place and work there- friendly, helpful and that’s making the whole atmosphere a bit homey. We left two jackets in the room and there was no way to come back to collect them. There was no problem to organize with them a courier company that picked them up for us ; )...

Ich kann nur warnen dort zu übernachten. Erst einmal funktionierte das Buchungssystem auf der Homepage nicht und bei Booking com war die Unterkunft nicht gelistet. Ich habe daraufhin 2 Übernachtungen mit 2 Zimmern über email angefragt und die Kosten dafür vorab überwiesen. Am Ankunftstag war niemand da . Nach kurzer Wartezeit erst einmal Chaos in der Bude .es Wäre kein Zimmer frei . Niemand wußte etwas . Es wurde hektisch telefoniert und nach einigen Diskussionen mit Händen und Füssen eine Lösung gefunden. Angeblich war dann aber der per email bestätigte Preis nicht richtig. Es wurde nachgefordert. Die Zimmer waren dann nach 45 min. Wartezeit fertig und waren auch Ok. Der Empfang allerdings unterirdisch, unfreundlich ! Wir waren dann zum Essen, welches hier ja insgesamt sehr viel Lob erfahren hat. Auch das war sein Geld nicht wert. Alles war geschmacklos und lieblos zusammengepanscht. Das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen die absolute Krönung : Zwieback und süsses Tütengebäck . Keine Butter , keine Marmelade, keine Wurst und kein Käse ! Am Ende habe ich für 1 Übernachtung ( 3 Personen ) mit Essen und "Frühstück " 307,- € !!! bezahlt . Meine Frau hat dann noch 1 ihre Nachtwäsche vergessen und dies am nächsten Tag 2 mal per mail kommuniziert. Wir kamen 3 Tage später noch einmal dorthin zurück ( die 2. Übernachtung war reserviert ) und fragten danach . wieder völlige Verwirrung . Der "Chef" war nicht erst nicht da und als er dann nach 20 min erschien war er nach erneuter Diskussion erst einmal verschwunden und nach einiger Schreierei im Hintergrund kam dann die info die Putzfrau hätte die Sachen entsorgt . Ich bin niemand der kleinlich ist ...aber das war NIX ! Gar NIX ! Mit besten...

The owner has no menu in any language available. He told us then what he currently has got available which was very minimal but tastewise ok. But you need to ask then for the price of any item at the time of ordering or it gets a bit expensive (€6.00 for insalata mista). Then at the end you need to go to the counter to pay and don’t get an invoice in the process although the cash register sits on the counter unused. I am sure the tax man appreciates this.😂
