I loved the food. I was around this area for four days and I went there twice for dunner. The service by Daniela and Olga was delightful. I can see George’s was too. Although I mainly got Daniela. What was superb is that in the second day we arrived and she treated us as incredible friends. I asked for a simple meal outside the menu for my wife and I and it was done to perfection. The wait for an American to pay for your food can be long but I realized it was a time to be content and enjoy the time with my wife and realize that I needed to enjoy the moment as there is high probably that I won’t be back ever to this nice place. Esperienza NEGATIVA. Prenoto per sabato sera con l'intenzione di mangiare una pizza, solo una volta arrivati e seduti da 15 minuti ci comunicano che non hanno il pizzaiolo, sarebbe stato più professionale avvisare in anticipo, decidiamo comunque di rimanere visto l'orario, ordiniamo 5 primi 2 secondi di carne e una frittura di pesce, un secondo di carne da portare con i primi piatti, di discreta qualità sono arrivati dopo più di 30 minuti con una sala quasi vuota, il secondo che avevamo chiesto è arrivato dopo quasi 2 ore perché la cameriera non aveva capito l'ordine, quindi dopo un ora e 20 dai primi piatti arrivano le 2 scottone e la frittura di pesce, la carne era fredda ed immaginabile, una è stata rimandata indietro ed è stata riportata al tavolo nuovamente dopo averla messa nel forno a microonde, la foto allegata parla da se... non ho mangiato il secondo e ho chiesto che venga decurtata dal conto, la frittura di pesce aveva 4 anelli di totano un merluzzo pieno di lische e verdure congelate ( 22 euro anche No), aggiungo che non è stato portato il vino. Il titolare si è giustificato per la carne dicendo che la cottura a sangue si raffredda subito, come se la cucina si trovasse a 50 km di distanza dai tavoli....e poi la cottura è stata decisa arbitrariamente senza chiedere nulla al tavolo. A very cozy restaurant in the middle of Tuscany. Not fancy, but it serves nicely made food from scratch. The fish carpaccio was very good, but the highlight of the night was the octopus, absolutely delicious: tender, flavorful, slightly grilled and served with potatoes.
