Pizzeria Riva Ganimede — Restaurant in Sperlonga

Food in the evening is restricted to pizza, which when reading their site was not obvious. They don't serve regular dinner. Thus, my guest wasn't able to order the seafood dish that she wanted. Also, we didn't appreciate the young waiter taking the orders of and serving 2 attractive young women that had just arrived, instead of us who had been waiting at least 10 minutes for someone to take our orders. It was obvious that he gave preference to these young women over an older couple. This resulted in a further delay of at least 30 minutes before we were served. The pizzas ordered were good. Also, the waiter took the order for a glass of white wine for my guest, but it wasn't brought with the pizza. When reminded, he brought a glass of red wine instead, and my guest graciously decided to accept it even though though she had ordered the preferred white wine. Looks like he still had those 2 younger and more attractive women on his mind. If it hadn't been so late in the evening we would have tried to find another restaurant to have dinner but this was one of the closest to our hotel so we stayed. The food was fine but the...

Abbiamo prenotato con un po’ di amici essendo ingolosti dalla terrazza sul mare e anche dai prezzi inferiori rispetto ad altre pizzerie di Sperlonga. La terrazza affaccia proprio sul mare, ma peccato che non si vedeva il tramonto essendo coperta da un’altra terrazza di un altro ristorante vicino. Se volete una dritta, quando prenotate dite espressamente che volete i tavoli fronte bancone della cassa così vi potrete godere anche lo spettacolo del tramonto (vi lascio una foto di come lo potete osservare dall’angolazione che vi ho consigliato io di chiedere).

Supplì buoni. Veniamo alle pizze. Sono di tipo napoletano, leggermente altine e con il cornicione bello pronunciato. Il cornicione abbiamo notato essere bello pienotto e non tendenzialmente vuoto come dovrebbe, il che ha reso la pizza abbastanza pesante essendo lievitata così cosi. In quanto al gusto a me è comunque piaciuta. C’è stata solo una piccola incomprensione per una pizza che è stata rifatta, ma al momento del pagamento è stato risolto tutto. Pinsa was terrible, the dough was raw! Don’t let the photos fool you, they make the food look way better than it is. Service was non-existent. Expensive too, because of the location on the beach. Go somewhere else.

Edit: pinsa or pizza, the dough was totally raw inside. The pomodoro was tasteless too. We told the owner the dough was raw and he just shrugged...
