Hotel Ristorante Bompiani — Restaurant in Supino

We already went there in the past but just for the restaurant, during some family celebrations, but we never experienced the hotel. ||We did it recently to celebrate Christmas in the village of Supino with close relatives who live there. We were two adults and a 4-year kid.The hotel is family run and the owner greeted us by showing us our room right away even though it was not ready (we arrived early in the morning, but we had commitments throughout the day so we just wanted to leave our suitcases). The room (a triple, no.6) was incredibly big, when we arrived in the afternoon we found it very warm, thankfully they turned on the heating (it was really cold outside) and all was well arranged. The double bed was so large that in the end we all three slept in there and very comfortably. My husband greatly appreciated the mattress comfort.The blankets are of course "classic Italian quilts" and not soft duvets from luxurious hotels, but they were warm and comfortable even if a little heavy. Big bathroom and comfortable hot shower, amenities ok but standard. The room had two windows and a panoramic terrace. The owner explained to us how to get back late at night because obviously there is no night reception, but everything was on smooth operation. The Italian continental breakfast was very generous and with fresh products (they arranged everything on our table). We were just three of us and I think another couple of guests so we had all the attention possible (very friendly with small children!). If the house of my uncles will again be filled with guests, we will definitely be back at the Bompiani hotel, great...

Percorrendo la a1 in direzione bologna, in mezzo ad un diluvio vero e proprio, dove le auto per vedersi accendono i retronebbia, la nostra fidata carrozza a motore decide di iniziare a tossire, probabilmente per la troppa umidità, fattostà che si decide di rimanere nei paraggi a passare la notte per poi trovare un buon elettrauto che controlli l'ammalata.||Vicino l'uscita di Ferentino, ma non troppo, ci imbattiamo, google maps permettendo, in questo hotel con ristorante. Ci accoglie una donna sulla 40ina o poco meno, molto gentile, prende a cuore il motivo x cui ci siamo fermati, ci fa vedere la nostra camera, ci fa notare che possiamo prendere un pasto caldo giù al ristorante anche fra qualche minuto.||Ottime sia le scaloppine al limone che gli gnocchetti ai funghi. ||||Intanto per pura fortuna, proprio quella sera era arrivato con la sua famiglia, al ristorante, un meccanico locale che la signora non esita a presentarci molto carinamente. Ci si accorda per l'indomani.||||Stanchi dal viaggio e dall'avventura si va a dormire. ||Non possiamo che notare girando negli atrii dell'hotel che sicuramente la struttura è pensata per ospitare molte persone, spazi molto grandi, ampie scalinate, anche la nostra camera era sopra la media di grandezza. ||Ciò che abbiamo apprezzato è l'estrema pulizia che cè dentro, il nastro che copre il wc ad indicare una corretta igienizzazione è ammirevole. E' presente la tv in camera direi anche abbastanza grande forse 32 o 37". C'è il clima.||||Ci siamo fermati in questo hotel all'oscuro di quante stelle avesse, siamo rimasti un po basiti dal fatto ne abbia solo 2. Abbiamo pernottato in dei 3 stelle molto più scadenti e squallidi da non potersi nemmeno avvicinare a questo 2stelle.||Il prezzo sia della cena che del pernottamento è economico,||la colazione è nella media, considerando il fatto che quella mattina eravamo gli unici a fare colazione, hanno cotto brioches solo per noi, ed abbiamo molto apprezzato.|||| ||Merita sicuro una stella in più, ed il ritorno ai fasti...
