A Truly Unforgettable Retreat

I had the immense pleasure of celebrating my 40th birthday at this exceptional Agriturismo, accompanied by 50 friends and family members over three unforgettable days. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this would be an experience like no other.

The setting was nothing short of magical, perfectly suited to accommodate our large group while maintaining an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to ensure our comfort and enjoyment.

The food was a highlight of our stay—exquisite, varied, and prepared with such care that every meal felt like a special occasion. The diversity and quality of the dishes left us all eagerly anticipating each meal.

The staff deserves the highest praise for their attentiveness and dedication. They were constantly on hand, anticipating our needs with warmth and professionalism.

A special thanks to Rosalba, whose exceptional kindness and efficiency ensured that all our requests were met with a smile. Dany expertly managed the organization of our meals, making sure everything ran smoothly. And last but certainly not least, Chef Chiara treated us to culinary delights each day, making our dining experiences truly memorable.

Our visit to the restaurant was quite mixed and rather so that we will not go there again, because price-performance was not right for us. In particular, the service and food-quality was disappointing. Appetizer and first course were tasty but reached us at the same time, which was probably due to a misunderstanding of our only Italian-speaking service staff. That's nothing to complain about, but we did not understand why the two service staff did not simply swap tables, as the other lady in the service spoke very good English.ä, so that it is easier for both sides to communicate. The second course was then unfortunately quite a disappointment: the vegetables were burnt, fish and meat lukewarm. The ordered side dish reached us only on demand. Overall, after the first course, we had the impression that we were ignored from then on: we sat in front of empty plates for a very long time and we were not asked if we would like another drink. The lady in service walked past us several times and no longer paid attention to us. What a wonderful find! La Fonte di Vivalda is a charming restaurant near Suvereto, perfect for trying authentic Tuscan cuisine. Dani and the team suggested us great dishes and made the evening unforgettable. The setting is beautiful, with the cascina draped in bougainvillea, making it very romantic. The menu is small but every dish is homemade and outstanding – especially the pappardelle, pici and cinta. Prices are fair for the quality.
