Sosta Bar Denise — Restaurant in Syracuse

Perfect stopover between Noto and Syracuse!

We discovered Sosta Denisa as an ideal all-in-one place for campers in this region. For just 3 euros, you get access to clean toilets, showers, a large parking area, a spot to dump grey water and refill with fresh (drinkable!) water. There’s also a nice picnic area, a small playground for kids, a food bar, and even baby food options.

It’s a peaceful place to spend the night and very easy to reach. You can clearly see they have a great vision to develop this into an even better stopover.

Small point for improvement: The new road you need to take could use some extra signposts in English for foreign tourists. But this will surely be fixed soon, as the motivation and ideas are definitely there!

On our way we stopped at Sosta Bar Denise. The staff is very friendly and you can sit inside or outside. Inside you have a very nice temperature. You can eat here a full meal but also granita and salty snacks. The toilets are huge and very very clean and with toilet paper! You can also stop there with your camper I read. They have showers. Mi capita spesso di fermarmi in questo bar per andare verso Modica. È stato sempre un.piacwrw farlo, ma stavolta mi ha deluso. Ho preso un fagottino con cioccolato, un cornetto vuoto e un caffè, tutto da portare via. Fagottino buono e fresco, caffè ottimo...cornetto sicuramente del giorno prima. Asciutto, secco e duro dentro. Si capisce quando una colazione non è fatta di giornata. Magari pensano...tanto questo quando torna?!?!. Forse adesso...
