We drove a few hours out of the way to go Tavullia to see The Doctor's hometown. We showed up at 2:35 pm, apparently they close at 2:30 pm and open up again later for dinner. Sadly we did not get to try the food. None of this was posted online and I also Facebook Messaged the store the day before and I still have not received a response. I would have planned the little time I had in Italy more appropriately to meet the stores opening hours.
I also had asked about purchasing a Rossi shirt, but I was told I had to join the 40 euro fan club. It would have been nice if I was redirected to the gift shop which I apparently missed as well as the 4 people working in the small fan club store where too busy talking to each other to help direct a fan in the right direction.
Pretty disappointed with my visit. Just wanted some food and a shirt of my favorite racer. Customer service was non existant. At least I didn't have to pay for parking to take a picture. I expected more out of the great VR46...
