Pizzeria La Rosa — Restaurant in Terricciola

This is a delightful roadside restaurant with excellent food. The staff were lovely and welcoming to my wife and I, even though we didn't have reservations and it was later in the evening. Though we were in the mood for just pizza and wine, La Rosa does offer a full menu. The pizza was excellent, with thin crust that had a crisp bottom and some char at the edges, and the menu offered more varieties and combinations of toppings than perhaps any restaurant we have visited in Rome and Tuscany over a two week holiday. It was a Monday night when we arrived in town and nothing in town was open for dinner except a few restaurants that opened at 730, which was too late for our family. We stopped at Pizzeria La Rosa and asked if they were opened (realizing later their sign says closed Mondays) and they graciously sat us to dine in. My family walked in and the waitress was very rude, had Avery bad attitude. We asked if we could sit in another table with more space as the whole entire restaurant was empty, waiters rudely said “no you have room here, you stay here and walked away.
