Alla Terza - Pinsa | Risto | Wine — Restaurant in Territorio Val d'Adige

Tucked just off the main street in Trento, Alla Terza leads you through a walkway into an inner courtyard with a handful of tables and a sleek bar setup. Oddly, neither the street-facing terrace nor the courtyard had other diners during our visit, which left the place feeling a bit empty and lacking atmosphere—especially with English soft pop music floating in from the square.

The food was a pleasant surprise. The Mortazz, a pinza topped with fior di latte from Caseificio Abbasciano, IGP mortadella, stracciata di burrata, semi-dried tomatoes, and pistachio pesto, was a standout. Balanced, creamy, and full of flavour. The pinza with Parma ham and burrata was also enjoyable. That said, both were priced at €16—on the steeper end for the portion size and casual setting.

What left a sour taste was the €6 coperto, especially as no bread or extras were offered—it felt unjustified. The wine list highlights local labels, and I tried the Pinot Nero, which was a lighter, chilled style. While pleasant, the pour was extremely stingy for €6—barely 100ml. It felt like poor value and could easily be improved with more generous servings.

Overall: Decent food, underwhelming atmosphere, and questionable value. A place with potential, but the pricing and ambience didn’t...

Great place for Pinsa! Got a good spot on the terrace spontaneously after a rainy day, and the Pinsas were really good. We also found out that we prefer Pizzas to Pinsas though, but we were very happy to have tried them here as they were beautifully prepared, we had a shared entrée and lots of fun.

Maybe more Pinsa options would have been nice, as vegetarians we didn't see easily through what was a good option for us.

The ambiance was good as well. The terrace is nicely decorated, calm and beautiful, away from the roads so thats...

Siamo andati a mangiare "Alla Terza" ieri sera in occasione di una rimpatriata, eravamo in sette e siamo stati accolti bene con un tavolo nel giardino condominiale interno della struttura ristorante; molto carino.

Tuttavia ci sono stati diversi episodi che non ci hanno fatto godere a pieno il cibo che, a differenza del servizio, era molto buono.

Partendo dal presupposto che quando ci sono state servite le bibite il contenuto del calice di vino era molto esiguo (100ml che generalmente per il prezzo offerto sono comunque pochi, non servito al tavolo), la birre oltretutto era calda e con evidenti problemi di carbonazione (data la schiuma non "a panna" e la temperatura della birra stessa troppo alta); quando abbiamo presentato i suddetti problemi, per il calice la risposta (dalla titolare) è stata "è la quantità giusta" e per la birra, dopo un iniziale "sbigottimento" da parte sua ha inviato un altro cameriere molto gentile che ha provveduto a confermarci il problema e ci ha portato delle birre sostitutive.

Passando la cibo, buono, tuttavia dopo aver chiesto cinque volte il pane per mangiare assieme al secondo ci è stato servito freddo da frigo e con molta freddezza (la stessa temperanza del pane).

I piatti erano gustosi, la pinsa buona, gli strangolapreti anche, la tagliata di pollo era cotta bene.

Peccato per il servizio che ci ha lasciato un po' l'amaro in bocca, della cortesia non guasta e non ci siamo lamentati più del dovuto, comprendo che potrebbe esserci stato caos o disagio ma non giustifica l'atteggiamento...
