This was absolutely the most absurd dining experience I have ever had in the last few years. The first moment when we step onto the restaurant terrace after parking, we wanted to through literally 3 pieces of napkins into their garbage bin that they put on the terrace, the somehow old guy came up to my boyfriend and said that he should not be throwing trash at into that bin because later on that the waiters will have to take he trash up to the larger waster disposal area, instead he pointed out some where in the back and told us to throw out 3 pieces of napkins there. I would like to ask, if you don't want your customer to throw trash into a trash bin, why on earth would you put one on the terrace. So does that mean we cannot used the toile after dining at your restaurant because you guys will need to clean the toilet after that? Or is that just a way to welcome your clients who are about to dine there. And btw- they did not even greet us but simply address on directly "don't throw the trash in that trash bin" HOW ABSURD! Secondly, I wanted to get a bottle of water, whilst waiting for our friend to come, the waiter told us we cannot get one if we are taking away, as they need to recycle the glass bottle.... then wouldn't you be able to provide us a plastic one. I do not understand this logic in any sense. Oh, so we were later finally sitting to a table, WITHOUT any tableware set. It was obviously a table that was not ready to be sat by guests, as it was not setup! (Come on - basic restaurant service, even a trattoria will do that) so we sat there for 30 min, no one came to ask if we want some water not give us bread, by this time the tableware were still not setup! When we first set down the restaurant was not half full, but by waiting for 30 min this place was jammed packed! And We are still sitting and waiting on an empty table after that. I finally approached her and told her we are ready to order and we don't have any on the table. Took her another 10 min to come back and get the order. Later on we waiting for another 30-40 min with no food served what so ever, as our friend did not want to miss out the perfect ski day, after waiting one and a half hour (was passed 2 pm at this point) to eat lunch, we stood up and ready to leave with empty stomach. She finally came up and told us that there is something wrong with the kitchen and waived the 1 glass of water we had for the past 1 and a half hour. Not so sure if this restaurant is consider a luxury dining place in Trento? But if so, it's a restaurant with spectacular view but unsophisticated service attitude, perhaps the worst I have seen in recent years. Thinking they have more than 50-60+ Indoor seats, and only 1 woman taking order and giving check, whilst 1 high school kid being runner, and another guy being the serving waiter (who btw- refused to take any order because it's not his job Wen after we told him we waited for 30-40 min), but funny thing is that their 4 bar seats there are 2 guys serving coffee and drinks. Sigh... what an absolute waste of good space and view for a low quality customer service. Will recommend you to just get a drink there and go down to the rustic restaurant for lunch, as the service is probably a regional shame. Never again. I mean, in the end, besides the detailed customer service skills that I value the most when dining at a restaurant, is the tableware they use, funny is that they use the same cutlery sets as the restaurant down there, by doing so, you know how much the owners are willing to spend to provide a proper dining experience, probably spending even less on their service...
Read moreNever had an bad experience like this!! The place is beautiful but the waiters - no words for it!!! Uneducated and without any respect! We and also other people was waiting more then 30 min and not even then we get recognized. So the first people start to go to the waiter - who was just starring at the floor - and ask if we/they could order but in the end nothing happened. Most shocking thing was that after 45 min this unfriendly waitress came To us and said the table is now reserved we have to leave. If u want to sit around in a nice ambient without eating or drinking anything and get insulted from the waiter - best place to be. Otherwise please go somewhere else because this service is...
Read moreThe best traditional restaurant in this area, combining views, relaxation and enjoyment at the same time. Here you can find everything from old Trentino cuisine to grilled delicacies. The location, directly connected to a ski slope and road, speaks for itself with a phenomenal view all the way to the Brenta mountain group. The journey can even be made by bus from Trento, which stops about 300m from the restaurant. If you prefer to drive on your own, you will be here from either side (Trento or Riva di Garda) in about 35 minutes. I can really recommend the restaurant because there truely is something for everyone, above all, you are never...
