Ristorante Casa Lika — Restaurant in Territorio Val d'Adige

This is our second visit here and we will definitely come back again. The waiter was very friendly and he speaks a few languages: English, Spanish, some French and German, so communication was easy. We ordered food based on his recommendation and were not disappointed. Everything was of excellent taste and artfully decorated. I would highly recommend warm octopus salad and incredible tender veal cheeks that just melt in the mouth. For dessert we had semifreddo made with white asparagus. It may seem strange combination, but in fact it is very fragrant, with just right amount of sweetness and interesting structure. That was a seasonal dish, you can only have it in spring. Our waiter told us that the menu changes with season, so in winter they will have different dishes than in summer or spring… But all would be worth enjoying. Belgian tourists on the lookout for good food on a Monday... seems many places in Trente are closed on Monday, so we ended up at Casa Lika's by chance. LUCKY US! We usually rely on apps like trip advisor to point us towards nice places to eat, yet being a brand new restaurant, Casa Lika was not on there yet. I expect it to become a top choice soon though! Downstairs is a cafe and bar, upstairs is a hidden gem of a restaurant. Lovely, welcoming staff, happy to make recommendations if asked, with a great menu of delicious options.
