Do not ever eat here! They will steal your money! Tne restaurant visit started off well. The male waiter who took us to a table was friendly and polite. Then everything went downhill from there. The female waitress kept talking to us in German despite us very politely asking if we can communicate in English (none of us speak German). After the first request, she said "Yes, I can speak English." But then every subsequent time she came to the table, she spoke German. The language aside, her whole demeanor was extremely rude. She would just walk off after being asked a question. We had to ask for a glass for our daughter after her not having one for about 10 minutes. She offered an appetizer of local meats. On the menu, that was 18 euro. We found out we were setved pne additi al thing without is ordering it. We ordered just one additional thing- one pizza which was 16 euro, and one small bottle of water for 3 euro. The final bill presented to us was 62.50 euro! It's absolutely appalling how they try to scam tourists! Stay away from this place. The only positive side was that the gluten free pizza...
Read moreThis place is total con! We were offered some bruschetta to start. We asked how big and the waitress said 'small' - we were given the impression it was a small taster, nothing much, so we thought it couldn't be more than a few Euros. It was much bigger than expected, and though it was good it was VERY EXPENSIVE, 18 Euros each! The most expensive dish on the menu x 2! So that cost us $36 Euros before we even had our meal. Plus there were a few other smaller charges (tax, service) we weren't expecting, so our bill ended up being nearly double what we were expecting. After having a fabulous experience at so many other places in Trento, and at restaurants near the Duomo, this was very, very annoying and disappointing. So please avoid this place and choose any of the other restaurants and bars around the Duomo (and they are better value off the square), and please don't ever agree to a 'small...
Read moreScammed, HARD. Not only does the place look like an Ikea cafe on the inside, but we got completely scammed, and we knew it was going to happen, too. We made the mistake of not reading the reviews until we arrived and sat down.
First huge red flag was us ordering still water and they gave us a large Surgiva bottle that was USED AND REFILLED WITH TAP WATER. and we were charged for the bottle!!!
Then they acted really weird when we came in and didn't accept the offer of appetizers when we ordered 2 full GIANT pizzas for 2 people.
The food was abysmally disappointing, absolutely nothing like the GIANT images they have outside.
They are not warm at all to us, and when we left, they handed us 2 "digestifs" that we felt pressured to drink and we were charged for.
We came in, bought an 11 euro and 13 euro pizza with a still water (that was rebottled tap water) and walked out paying...
