We had a very bad experience in this place, we had reserved two evenings for dinner but we only had dinner once, we really had no desire to go back one more evening. In the first instance, a restaurant behind closed doors seemed strange to us where you have to ring the bell to enter, after that first impression everything seemed normal inside a restaurant, initially we were served by two very kind ladies... until the owner of the restaurant and her son appeared on the scene, from that moment we only wanted to leave the restaurant and return to our hotel what an arrogant woman the owner of the restaurant who at the same time is a waitress, arrogant and taxing, we feel that her attitude was only to earn money instead of the satisfaction and comfort of the clients, she was not kind at all and the food is supposed to be the star of the place and we should qualify this and leave other details in the background. Read more"Vorrei, ma non posso".. Il locale si presenta bene, con uno stile classico e immerso nelle colline del Monferrato. La porta del locale è sempre chiusa: occorre perciò suonare ed aspettare che qualcuno apra.. così poi non potrete poi scappare! Il menù è composto da piatti molto elaborati, tanto belli alla vista, quanto insignificanti al sapore ed all'olfatto. Non posso descrivere in dettaglio i piatti mangiati, in quanto non mi è rimasto impresso nulla che mi abbia colpito in particolar modo.. Vitello tonnato e insalata russa da gastronomia, un salmone affumicato tipo busta del supermercato accompagnato da finocchi bolliti, tortino di broccoli "incartato" difficile da deglutire ed insapore, le conchiglie con carciofi e mandorle erano insapore e arrivati freddi. Brodo di cappone con ravioli del Plin che, non so perché, ci aspettavamo fossero fatti dal ristorante, non dalla gastronomia. Cappone con patate arrivati freddi (e le patate fatte parecchio tempo prima). Bene ma non benissimo: il gelato invece è arrivato semi-sciolto. Questo il menù di Natale '23: piatti elaborati ma insapore, bellissimi impiattamenti ma cibi freddi.. totale circa 70 euro/persona! Non abbiamo trovato neppure cortesia da parte dei proprietari.
