This restaurant was recommended by friends. We're new here and with young kids. So the play area was very appealing. Short and sweet, it's a fantastic place with warm customer service and a higher end food experience that would cost two or three times as much on the coast. Lots of parking if you arrive before 8pm.

Dinner service starts at 6:30. English isn't widely spoken, but don't let that intimidate you. I wrote things out on Google translate, and Mario our waiter was super relaxed and patient to help us order what we wanted as we communicated back and forth. This was huge because you're choosing from the live and fresh fish at the entrance. Once you're done, they scoop everything out, weigh it, and it goes back to the kitchen for cooking. 30 minutes later, it gets wheeled out on a tray and dished out at the table. The house wine was awesome and comes in small bottles at 8 eur each. Lots of other choices in the menu besides seafood.

It's a big event center so there are other entrances with parties going on and the locals all dressed up. It added to the atmosphere.

Definitely coming back...

Best Italian style meal we’ve had since moving here from the states (close to US Navy Support site). Mario, our server (had him 2x), speaks a bit of English and was really great about google translate. He recommended items and answered questions we had about the other dishes being served to other tables. It’s kid friendly on the restaurant side and even has a little play area that has glass so you can let the kids play and you can still see them. The owners were there and friendly as well. Prices are very affordable and their menu (qr code) has both an Italian and English translation version. The margherita pizza is only 5€ and delicious. Zeppoline are so good. The trofie pasta (porcini and sausage), carbonara, and bolognese are all delicious...

Delusione totale per il cenone di Capodanno

Ieri sera ho partecipato al cenone di Capodanno con la mia famiglia presso questo ristorante, pagando 140€ a persona per il menù adulti e 60€ per il menù bambini (tre menù adulti e uno per bambini). Purtroppo, l’esperienza è stata pessima e del tutto al di sotto delle aspettative, soprattutto considerando il prezzo.

Il menù adulti si è rivelato una grande delusione: • Il crudité, che avrebbe dovuto essere una portata ricca e di qualità, era estremamente povero. • L’antipasto è stato buono,nulla di eccezionale • Il primo piatto con mezza astice al sugo era immangiabile: il sapore era amaro e acidognolo, davvero sgradevole,l’abbiamo lasciato tutti. • Il secondo primo, gli gnocchetti Imperium, era buono, ma la porzione era talmente piccola da risultare ridicola. • Il secondo piatto, una frittura di pesce, era buona. • Dopo la frittura, è arrivata l’insalata di rinforzo, che era buona e ben fatta. • Era inoltre previsto lo zampone con le lenticchie, ma al nostro tavolo non è mai stato servito, un’ulteriore mancanza.

Per quanto riguarda il menù bambini, è stato uno scandalo: • Le pennette al sugo erano preparate con un sugo acido e mal riuscito, incredibile che si possa sbagliare un piatto così semplice. • La cotoletta con patatine era dura e immangiabile, assolutamente inaccettabile.

Inoltre, sul menù era indicato che ci sarebbe stato un intrattenimento con piano bar, ma questo è iniziato solo alle 23:30. Fino a quell’ora la serata è stata una noia totale, senza alcuna forma di intrattenimento. Conclusione: per i prezzi pagati, la qualità del cibo Una delusione su tutti i fronti.
