My wife and I were staying nearby and our hotel recommended this place for dinner. We are so thankful they did. What a great experience! Our hotel made reservations on our behalf. When we arrived for dinner, we were greeted quickly and escorted to our table. Our server spoke English very well and explained the menu to us with great detail. The menu is in Italian, but not an issue since the server spoke such good English. We ordered bruschetta topped with fat from the pig. I know that it doesn’t sound appealing, but it was amazing! I recommend trying it. Then I had pasta with wild rabbit ragu. The server suggested I trade out the egg noodles for a local fresh option, stringozzi. I’m so glad I did. The pasta was amazing. My wife ordered the lasagna (not anything like lasagna in the USA). The lasagna had peas and sausage. Also extremely tasty. We then split a dish of beef tail stew based on the server’s recommendation. It was so tender and flavorful. I cannot recommend this...

What a gem. On the hillside village of Izzalini, near the church square. We stopped for pastries in the morning and were advised that it is a good idea to call for a reservation for dinner. We called at noon and got a 7pm reservation for 4, sitting outside. Parking is just on the side of the road. We were the first party to arrive for dinner and were seated promptly. It was a very hot day, but the front patio is in the shade and felt fine. Our young waiter was very kind and patient with us, translating the entire menu and explaining the dishes. They even made buttered noodles and plain pasta with sauce for the kids. The food was fantastic, especially the potato gratin and the steak with rocket and parmesan. The desserts were incredible, as well. We were especially impressed by the presentation of the tiramisu, which looks like a flower pot with a plant growing in it! Highly recommended restaurant. An amazing experience that we'll...

We were taken here by friends for dinner.

Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior this place is outstanding.

A really well procured menu with local ingredients, an extensive wine list and solid cocktail list make for a great night out.

I started with the carpaccio which was not only delicious, but a large portion. That followed with the beef cheeks which melted in my mouth. Every mouthful of food was delicious.

I can also recommend the Negronis as an aperitivo.

Add to that friendly attentive service. If your in the area pay this place a visit as you won't be...
