Vesù LAB — Restaurant in Torre del Greco

The food is good, people seems to be nice for the naive tourist at the first sight. Please be aware that you won't be able to discuss properly in French or English.

After explaining 3 times that we only wanted a glass of prosecco and not the whole bottle, they charged us 9e for a 10e bottle (written on the menu).

After a quick friendly talk, an "antipasti mix" was proposed to us, with no detail. It was way oversized for 4 persons as for the price of the bunch of it (50e).

Finaly, we ordered 2 pizza to take away, which were not expensive and pretty good.

At the end, the final price of 80e setted up with client face, surprise: impossible to pay by credit card. With no cash, we were forced to manage to get some by our own way, don't count on the personal to help you find an ATM.

I'm not used to share my experiences on restaurant, but this one were my only bad one from 2...

We are a family of 4 looking for a friendly place to eat on our last night in Italy. We parked in the car park just past the restaurant on the left and felt ressured it would be safe because there was a member of staff sitting in the car park keeping his eye on the cars. We did not make a reservation (the phone number wouldn't connect) and maybe we should have because the restaurant soon filled up, but the staff welcomed us in and made us feel relaxed. There was a lovely community atmosphere and the staff were lovely, just what we were after. We had a pizza, lobster pasta, clam pasta and mushroom and sausage pasta, all really great. Such an amazing spot! I highly recommend it! We are tourists who like to get a little of the beaten path and look for the local jems. Well we found one. The food was amazing pasta on point, I had the mushroom and sausages with pasta. Best meal in Italy so far. Delicious house white, cheese and meat plate, all exceptional with buffalo mutsarello. Just forget about it! Great staff, lovely cool outdoor seating, many local families enjoying an afternoon. The house white was , well, we are two bottles deep. What can I say. Treat yourself.
