TRUST ME, you need to come to this restaurant!!!!!! I don’t think I’ve ever had a more pleasant experience from a restaurant. Everything about this restaurant was worth falling in love with. It sits next to this precious little bridge that stands over a mini-river. As you approach the restaurant, it couldn’t be more inviting. Upon walking in, you are welcomed by a beautifully decorated lobby and bar with dozens of paintings (which I later learned were all done by the family’s father, who was an amazing artist, by the way). The dining room was just as beautiful, and the food was INCREDIBLE. My friends and I were overwhelmed by the quality of the food, and the amount! Our waitress made it a point to recommend the best platters and helped us pair it with the best wine. I’m almost at a loss for words at how flavorful and just overall delicious the food was here. We were left wishing we had bigger stomachs so we could keep eating! Trust me, these portions aren’t for the light of heart (or light of appetite!!!). The variety of carefully selected (locally sourced) sea food was perfectly assorted, and everything paired together perfectly. We were served a small shrimp dish which was plated in a small sea shell. And let me tell you. That was the most DELICIOUS thing I have ever had in my life. You NEED to come here for their menu!!! But something that was even more memorable of this restaurant was the people. This restaurant was owned by the most precious family, and they are the most caring and kind people. While no one in my group spoke any Italian, everyone working at the restaurant made it a point to try to communicate to us and make us feel welcome. Alexandra, our waitress, spoke perfect English and she ESPECIALLY made effort to have conversation with us, which meant so much to us. She even made it a point to help my group plan out a day trip out of the town after we ate. And then the next day, when we managed to mess up our taxi ride home from the train station, we were able to call her and she helped us get a taxi home at 1 IN THE MORNING. She simply has the biggest heart to help us the way she has. I will never forget how special this restaurant is and the family that runs it. I have so much love for them, and you definitely should visit them because there is no way in the world you would regret it. Best experience I’ve had with a restaurant. No doubt. 100000/10. Delicious food, good selection of wines, beautiful location, but ask the host about portions, because some dishes are just massive, making it a really good value. 15 anni fà io e la mia compagna abbiamo conosciuto questo posto meraviglioso e la famiglia che da sempre lo conduce con passione, competenza, professionalità e con tanto spirito di sacrificio. Siamo stati ospiti ad un matrimonio ed in seguito abbiamo prenotato una cena un sabato sera e da allora quanti meravigliosi momenti abbiamo passato qui. Nelle salette riservate si possono ammirare le opere del papà artista e si respira il sapore di questa splendida arte, nel salone principale si possono godere gli ampi spazi e la vista sul giardino, ottimo e fresco quando fuori fà caldo…l’esterno è la zona che preferiamo di più, molto rilassante, con vista sul parco e sui rilassanti alberi di alto fusto…le fresche acque che scorrono veloci nei vicini fossi rinfrescano sempre la temperatura e il rumore del vento che muove le foglie è meravigliosamente rilassante. Il cibo è sempre ottimo, cucinato con amore e sapienza, accompagnato da ottimi vini…la cordialità dei proprietari e di tutto lo staff è eccezionale e ci fà sempre sentire a casa… frequentiamo anche altri locali ma qui abbiamo sempre trovato la miglior qualità al giusto prezzo…è sempre bello e speciale per noi trascorrere una serata cenando da Da Yaga e sia a noi sia ai nostri amici se passa un pó di tempo dall’ultima cena ne sentiamo...
