Ristorante & Country Hotel Villa De Winckels — Restaurant in Tregnago

Having a wedding at Villa De Winckels made all our wildest dreams come true. From the preparation stage, the team was incredibly supportive, organized a tasting for us, and answered a million questions. We had a solid Plan A (mainly outdoors, which we preferred) and Plan B. Despite the terrible weather leading up to the wedding, with heavy rain making Plan A impossible, we had already agreed on Plan B. However, on the wedding day, the sun came out, and the team re-planned everything to ensure we stuck to Plan A as much as possible without involving us, allowing us to focus on the big day. The day was perfect—the villa and its surroundings were magical, creating a fairytale-like atmosphere. The team was very attentive, the food was incredible, and as newlyweds, we stayed in the Tower for the first night, which added to the fairytale experience. The villa also has rooms for guests, which was extremely helpful as we had many international guests. 2016: *Esperienza nella Cantina del Generale, piccola saletta con tavoli arredata come una cantina. Cenare con ottimo vino con un clima simile rende unica l'esperienza. Menu concordato di ottima qualità con abbinamento vini suggerito sapientemente.

Aggiornamento 2018 **Salve, aggiorno oggi 12.03.18 la mia recensione precedente che lascio scritta qui sopra, e nella quale avevo attribuito 5 stelle, con la nuova alla quale ne attribuisco 2. Perche?

Ho concordato un menu per un pranzo circa 1 settimana fa. Non ci sono particolari note o carenze su quanto concordato, quindi come qualità e come portate concordate la recensione poteva ritenersi positiva.

Le due stelle stanno al fatto che il servizio è stato estremamente lungo e superficiale. Dall'antipasto (ore 13.00 circa) al primo piatto ( ore 14.15 circa) abbiamo dovuto aspettare più di 1 ora, con ripetuti solleciti alle cameriere perchè la festeggiata (anziana di 85 anni) aveva da prendere dei medicinali a stomaco pieno. Alle ore 15.20 potevamo mangiare i secondi e alle ore 16.30 terminare il pranzo. La cucina per farsi "perdonare" ci ha servito una macedonia di frutta NON richiesta da noi ospiti.

Al momento del pagamento il titolare si è scusato sommariamente e ha ritenuto di dover sottolineare che con la macedonia servita "dovevamo essere contenti", oltre a puntualizzare che il menù concordato era già stato ribassato (su mia richiesta? su un listino stabilito? NO! nella sua testa) e che quindi il prezzo era già limato a nostro favore.

Mi chiedo. Se concordo un menù, non batto ciglia sul prezzo che mi viene comunicato, partecipo al pranzo ed ho una carenza da parte del ristorante, potrò io aver a che ridire visto che sto pagando il concordato?

TOP TOP TOP 🔝 place! Here again something that you don't expect. What an amazing place. Super good food almost all home made or local. The tagliere salumi e formaggi is super good 👍 and i need to mention the onions marmalade for the cheese 😋. Very good costata steak. All with superlative wine from a local and very special producer. Very nice and quite room with good amenities. Fantastic breakfast with delicious home made cakes and pies! Definitely a must visit place!!! Bravo to all the people that works in this...
