Il Saraceno — Restaurant in Tricesimo

This place is perfect for having a pizza or pasta around Tricesimo. Having said that, I have to add that this place also offers other great food opportunities on its multi-lingual menu. I have tried fish and seefood and it was also perfect. Maybe, this place is even a bit underrated.

The staff is super-friendly and has a nice sense of humor. The speak Italian, German and English (a bit). The owner is a bit strange, but it seems to be his style. And I like it and he gives the place a destinctive character. He seems to have his place in order. I have been there several times and the quality is speaking for itself.

The only (really minor) critics is that this place located beside a highly frequented strèet. However, youare netter...

Il cibo in questo locale era davvero delizioso, ma ho avuto un'esperienza sgradevole. Come donna transgender che vive come donna da tre anni e ha subito un intervento di riassegnazione di genere, purtroppo non mi sono sentita rispettata. Nonostante mi fossi vestita in modo piuttosto audace, il che non dovrebbe essere un problema nel mondo di oggi, sono stata chiamata "Signore" dal proprietario mentre sparecchiava il tavolo.

Questa forma di mancanza di rispetto ha notevolmente rovinato la mia visita e il pasto piacevole. Capisco che questo ristorante si trovi in una zona più rurale, ma il trattamento rispettoso dovrebbe essere scontato, indipendentemente dalla posizione. Spero che in futuro venga mostrata maggiore sensibilità verso tali questioni.

The food in this establishment was truly delicious, but I had an unpleasant experience. As a transgender woman who has been living as a woman for three years and has undergone gender confirmation surgery, I unfortunately did not feel respected. Despite dressing quite freely, which should not be an issue in today's world, I was addressed as "Sir" by the owner while he was clearing the table.

This form of disrespect greatly tarnished my visit and the enjoyable meal. I understand that this restaurant is located in a more rural area, but respectful treatment should be a given, regardless of the location. I hope that more sensitivity towards such matters will be shown in the future.

Das Essen in diesem Lokal war wirklich köstlich, allerdings musste ich eine unangenehme Erfahrung machen. Als transsexuelle Frau, die seit drei Jahren als Frau lebt und eine Geschlechtsangleichung hinter sich hat, fühlte ich mich leider nicht respektiert. Obwohl ich mich freizügig kleidete, was in der heutigen Zeit eigentlich kein Problem sein sollte, wurde ich vom Chef beim Abräumen des Tisches mit „Sir“ angesprochen.

Diese Form der Respektlosigkeit hat meinen Besuch und das angenehme Essen stark getrübt. Ich verstehe, dass dieses Lokal eher ländlich gelegen ist, aber auch in solchen Regionen sollte ein respektvoller Umgang miteinander selbstverständlich sein. Ich hoffe, dass in Zukunft mehr Sensibilität für solche Themen...

Nice, cozy restaurant with a 80's interior design. There's plenty of both indoor and outdoor seats (great for the summertime). I've visited this place many times, their menu is one of the broadest I've ever seen, so everybody can find food that satisfy their tastes. On a couple of times service was very slow, albeit the restaurant not being excessively overcrowded, and that's the reason for my 4/5. Apart from this particular, food is great, both entrees and main dishes, whether its fish, meat or pizza, you will be satisfied. Portion size is more than fine...
