I enjoyed this meal so much. The restaurant sits in a small village just outside of Umbertide. The service is excellent and English is spoken if your Italian is lacking. The menu had a small number of items, all seasonal and amazing. The mixed antipasti is very good and we also had grilled porcini mushrooms cooked and seasoned perfectly allowing the flavour of the produce to speak for itself. We had a rabbit dish that was also great and a selection of desserts that finished the meal nicely. There is parking on site and a great collection of wine to select for your meal. Our hosts Coen and Laura made us a reservation at Nonna’s. Looked closed, but niece and I went around to the back and discovered this wonderful outdoor garden location. . It was just fair and needed a lot of salt to get any flavor. Lettuce salad was just dry lettuce and you add olive oil and balsamic.
