This local restaurant neighbouring the hotel we were staying in was a magnificent surprise. Not only is the food homemade the owner and staff are completely wonderful warm and welcoming! We decided last min to have our wedding reception which consisted of only us two in this very restaurant! We were not only greeted with a million smiles a beautifully decorated table with the special detail of a single rose and congratulations from all… they made our night completely magical and forever memorable! A young girl with the voice of an angel sang us our wedding so we could have a first danse. I cried happy tears! It was such a special experience and my husband was over the moon to be eating the best homemade pizza at his wedding reception!! The restaurant is as delightful outside as well as on the inside. We stopped for a week for a family vacation in this region. And we've been to this restaurant twice. And that says something. First, the food. Amazing! Don't forget about desserts, they are worth your attention. Pizza! And everything in between is mandatory) secondly, service. With respect and attention. My husband and I went here for dinner and were blown away. The views are stunning, the setting and atmosphere great, and the staff were the most helpful and friendly I think we have ever come across. The portions are huge so don't order too much - we had two starters and two mains and we couldn't come close to finishing and missed out on dessert. Really great, traditional, home made food.
