I have been eating here for a few years now, sometimes it's just for a "pranzo di lavoro" a 12 euro 2 course + wine & coffee joy of home cooked food, at an amazing price. Today was a little celebration so went on the main menu: Carpaccio di trota, beautiful Polenta fritta con porcini, suberb Gnocchi di castagne, pancetta + pecorino, deliciously smokey. Cinghiale in umido, rich & tasty Castanaggio, a chestnut flour and nut dessert Wine and coffee 25 euros a head. All home cooked, many of the ingredients come from the working water mill next door. The team are a joy, friendly & always pleased to see you. The mountainous scenery is a perfect backdrop to a splendid lunch.... A very beautiful restaurant set in a very magical and ethereal location. We sat in the open air with the refreshing mountain air as we dined. All the dishes appeared to have been home made, and the quality and freshness of the ingredients were of a very high standard. Nous y sommes allés deux fois Je vous recommande les anti pasto, les raviolis au ragoût, les patates rôtis, le jambon et le carpaccio de truite ! Le cadre est vraiment joli ! Je ne mets pas toutes les étoiles car le Personnel très serviable, mais souvent débordé. Je déplore également que faute de parler français ou de savoir traduire en anglais, comme cela n'est pas écrit sur la carte, nous avons eu le droit à la glace au citron bien que très bonne, à la tarte au chocolat et au gâteau de riz en proposition orale de dessert.J'ai pourtant entendu la serveuse proposer en italien une croustade de myrtilles ou un tiramisu une fois notre dessert fini.... Dommage j'aurai bien goûté. Attention au sel aussi parfois trop présent mais j'ai l'impression que beaucoup d'italiens du Nord...
