I feel compelled to post a follow up of my 5-star review from over 1 year ago. Neither the food nor the atmosphere has lost anything. The eating experience is at a much higher level than anything else you'll experience in the surrounding area, and Claudio and Maria are very welcoming to well-intentioned guests. I won't speak for guests leaving negative reviews, but their postings seem personal and not substantiated, in my humble opinion. Charming little trattoria at 200 meters from Il Veccietta B&B. No other language than Italian spoken, but menu translated in English en German (with Google Translate, we think :) ) - but cook and owner went out of his way to make claer what was what, even inpersonating an wild boar for us ... and his wife came with a very thick and very old dictionary! Mi sento di scoraggiare i possibili avventori di questa trattoria. Ciò che abbiamo mangiato è buono, senza lode senza infamia. Ciò che è stato spiacevole è l'essere stata schernita dal proprietario del ristorante per aver richiesto un caffè macchiato di soia. Spalleggiato da due commensali che hanno commentato "Questa è una trattoria seria!", condito da risate e risolini, il titolare mi ha invitata a leggere l'insegna che riportava la dicitura "trattoria" adducendo che quindi non avesse latte di soia. Portando a tavola i caffè, ha tenuto a specificare che il latte servito fosse di mucca e della Maremma e lanciandosi in una filippica non richiesta sulla sua personale scelta di non avere nel suo ristorante coca-cola, soia e quant'altro. Era necessario mortificare in questo modo un cliente intollerante al lattosio o semplicemente vegano??!Non sarebbe stato più semplice dire che non avevano latte di soia? Pagare per essere mortificati in questo modo e subire l'opinione non richiesta del trattore anche no, grazie.
