This was our second great restaurant find in as many nights in San Quirico D’Orcia.
We started with two wonderful cocktails: one Negroni Sbagliato; and, one Nobel. Both were delicious, and typically generous in their portions!
We followed those with one of the best bruschetta combos that we’ve had in our seven weeks in Italy. Four slices of excellent toasted bread were graced with four different but equally delicious toppings: classic tomato (with oh-so-sweet tomatoes!); extra virgin olive oil and thinly sliced raw garlic (a revelation); saffron cream of pecorino (OMG!); and, crema di lardo (silky, rich flavour orgasm).
For our mains we enjoyed a Chianina beef with black pepper with a side of cannellini beans, and meatballs with lentils (also with a side of cannellini).

We had the garlic Pici ( Local specialty round thick pasta cooked al dente ) served with fried garlic and fresh olive.oil. Immaculate taste which fits in the celebration (day of Immaculata festival). My personal favorite is local wild boar. This boar is cooked here to perfection too. Wild boar is available in most restaurants, however the cooking style differs. Back in Siena we were both unhappy with the boar being not fresh. Here you are assured to receive the freshest ingredients. Ines takes care of this for you. Last not least to mention is the red wine of the Valley of San Orcia. Famous Tuscan wines grow here with the San Genovese tried ffrom 2017. Yes there are other wines but this goes extemely well with the boar. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ is justified and will bring the deserved attention to the house AFRICASIAEURO (...

The food we ordered looked amazing. As a starter we had some nice bruschettas, with delicious olive oil, garlic and fresh tomatoes. The main course was Lasagna and Pici with caramelized red union. Both were magnificent.
Service is really good. They are very friendly and we are looking forward to our next visit at the end of our holiday in the beautiful region of...
