⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My wife and I had lunch at La Bottega Di Portanuova during our visit to San Quirico d'Orcia, and recommend it strongly! We were a bit nervous as this was our first stop during our trip, and despite our limited Italian, the staff was incredibly patient, nice, and accommodating, making us feel right at home. 🏡 We enjoyed a wonderful lunch featuring a delicious charcuterie board, a fresh tuna salad for my wife, and a perfectly toasted ham and cheese sandwich for me. The quality of the food was top-notch and truly authentic! The location was also perfect, allowing us to explore the beautiful area around San Quirico d'Orcia after our meal. We absolutely loved our experience and highly recommend this charming spot to anyone looking for a high-quality meal in a welcoming atmosphere! 🌟🍴 Thank you.

We stopped in for lunch while exploring San Quirico and it was phenomenal. This restaurant puts an emphasis on local ingredients and everything tasted so fresh. We ended up splitting one of the special paninis, which had mortadella, pecorino cheese and a delicious truffle sauce. The sandwiches are pretty big so splitting was sufficient for us. It was absolutely delicious on their focaccia role, I would highly recommend if you are in the area!

We came for the laundry next door but left here belly’s full and satisfied! Well run and locally grown produce. We got the 2 for 1 grazing board and tap beers - all was delicious, and the staff were soooo kind! They were happy to talk through the menu with us and explained all the food as it came out. Nothing but friendly greetings. Would recommend to everyone and anyone, was a highlight of our trip!

Just a perfect place in this gorgeous historic town. We were welcomed so beautifully by Roberta and Luigi. This bio bar has everything! From delicious cheeses and meats to a wonderful range of pasta (to buy as well), jars of pistachio and tomato sauce. Would definitely recommend. Can’t wait to go back!

Si tratta di una bottega di alimentari che offre una scelta di prodotti biologici e tipici di grande qualità (soprattutto formaggi, vino e pasta) ma anche un luogo di ristoro che propone una serie di delizie non banali ai viandanti in cerca di sapori caratteristici: è la Bottega di Porta Nova, pensata e gestita con accoglienza e affabilità dalla coppia dei padroni di casa. L'arredamento stile anni Settanta e la musica anni Ottanta confezionato un'atmosfera vintage che si sposa magnificamente con i piatti proposti dal locale: taglieri di formaggi e affettati, crostoni e focacce variamente farcite. Io in particolare mi sono lasciato consigliare ed ho optato per una focaccia con mortadella e crema di tartufi e poi per un crostone con speck e crema di carciofi, il tutto accompagnato dalla birra leggera della bottega. Vivamente consigliato.

Ci troviamo a San Quirico per ora di pranzo e come nostro solito ci piace rester "leggeri" dopo aver letto le varie recensioni ci avviamo verso quello che sembra essere il luogo di cui parlano, beh ci accoglie un ragazzo molto gentile, notiamo subito che ci sono anche persone del posto così penso ecco allora deve essere veramente buono. La conferma è presto a noi! Prodotti veramente di ottima qualità in un ambiente che meriterebbe di essere un po' più curato per essere veramente perfetto. Corrisponde esattamente a quello che si dice un posto dove ci tornerei ogni volta che ho voglia di una merenda speciale. Gentilezza e qualità. Noi abbiamo le focacce e il crostone buono ma le focacce meritano di più. Un consiglio, se le focacce fossero piastrate non avrebbero rivali
