Wow wow wow! An unforgettable dining experience. This restaurant was highly recommended to us, and we are so glad we took the time to eat here. We were very warmly received and cared for from the moment we walked in. The ambience is great, including the music! The servers were so personable, and the younger woman especially (sorry I forget your name!) was so attentive and fun. That alone would have been enough for a 5 star review but the food was also amazing!! All the dishes were prepared very thoughtfully, and with regional ingredients. My husband and I had to eat a few of the dishes with our eyes closed to hold back tears of joy. The chestnut soup, the veal + porcini, the oxtail, and the chestnut rum panna cotta were the particular standouts. They do half portions too, so we were able to try many of the dishes! Even the grappa was fantastic - we tried the local chestnut-flavoured one. We hope to come...

A bit of a detour for us but so worth it! It wasn't just dinner but a whole experience. We had a warm welcome from brother and sister and they explainend the menu and were very attentive and friendly. You can choose a combination of 3 or for starters, so that's what we did :) We started with the soup (it was rather strongly advised) and it was delicious! It was funny (in a good way) for us that every course came with instructions like "add some olive oil to this" or " ground some fresh pepper on that" It shows how much they care about the food! The raviolo was by far the best dish but we liked all of them. The polenta with 7cheeses and truffle was not our favourite, it lacked a little bit of texture and the truffle lost the battle against the force of all the cheeses. We had a really fun, copious and delicious dinner and were thoroughly entertained by the hosts :) Go there, strongly...

I generally don't post reviews very quickly, but this required an exception. My wife and I ended up here during our honeymoon, and it was quite the experience. I could tell you about their Chestnut soup (which you should order, it is absolutely incredible). Or their lovely decor, or even the extensive menu (of which the first courses are the highlights).

What made our night was Manuela. She not only chose our food, but spent the night teaching us Italian. She was a joy to be around, and made us laugh enough that we decided to book a reservation for our second night.

Go here, have the soup, talk to Manuela, and enjoy an unexpected...

This is a restaurant in a very small town but you can clearly see that it has been managed very well for 65 years. First of all it’s family owned and this steps up the game since the quality of the service is impeccable. Everyone will pay attention to the details and help you pick the best possible dish. Consider they also do half portions so that you’ll be able to try more dishes. The quality of the ingredients is on a different level but don’t expect too many vegetariano options, you’re in Tuscany in the end. Last but not least, the atmosphere in the restaurant makes you feel home and is great for both dates as much as big groups of people.

Absolutely brilliant. A triumph. For a Kiwi who grew up eating lamb and wild pig, the Agnello and Chingiale blew me away. Wow. The photos don't do the flavours justice. Try the chestnut and mushroom soup from the region. Loved the drunk pasta (cooked in red wine). The 3 shared primi gave us a nice selection and this was the best pannacota I've ever had. Ever. Warm world, a place full of locals, very reasonable prices and fine dining flavours. Better than a lot of fine dining. Highly recommended.

I was here in June. This was probably the best dining experience I’ve ever had. The family atmosphere is unmatched and was great service. Old school music player and great vibes. The standout dish was the chestnut and mushroom soup. I’m not a soup eater but that was perfection. All the way from New Zealand. Highly Recommended.
