Ristorante Carisma — Restaurant in Unione dei comuni del Distretto Ceramico

Could so easily have been 4 - 5 stars, but let down massively by the waiting staff, who literally just left you waiting. Food was beautiful, ambience was really nice but the staff seemed to look in every direction except ours when we were trying to catch their eye, walked through the external seating area looking through the window at the inside rather than pay attention to the people they were supposed to be looking after. Most annoying part was that anybody who was Italian was given a small jug of limoncello (for free) at the end of their meal. We had to ask for ours & were given two small glasses, and then charged for it! We were recommended this place by our hotel, who told us they have an association & we'd get preferential treatment by mentioning him. Our server was not interested in this at all, as like everything I said she seemed to pick & choose what she understood (including when I asked for a pizza 3 times in the exact same way she pronounced it upon 'understanding'. Didn't ruin our night out, but this place was hugely let down by those who are meant to make you feel welcome. Would not go back...

This restaurant was beneath the hotel I stayed at ( Hotel Dumos ). I had mixed feelings about the place whereas I read several bad reviews about this place, but I have to say the restaurant is always busy at night time and it’s VERY UNDERRATED!. On my arrival on a Wednesday night, Matteo the owner of the restaurant, invited me for a free drink after I checked in the hotel. The following day, after I went sightseeing in Maranello, I dined in to have dinner; God I had the best ham pizza ever. It was super delicious! And then a couple of minutes later, I ordered a chicken ceasar salad. The lettuce, tomato and baked bread were very fresh, the grilled chicken too was very tasty. To be honest, this restaurant excels in the quality of food they serve and the hospitality you receive from the waiters as well. Luigi my waiter kept coming in back and forth asking if I needed something to drink, if the food’s good, if I need anything, etc…. I will be coming back definitely for the friendliness of the people who work there. Thank you Matteo and everyone who works there for this...

Ieri sera con mia moglie e mia figlia durante la notte rossa a Maranello, decidiamo di sederci in un tavolo in piazza, al ristorante Carisma. Stendiamo un velo pietoso per le posate in plastica che si spezzavano al mangiare di una cotoletta, le abbiamo fatte cambiare 3 volte, infine l'abbiamo presa sul ridere. Chiamare pizza una pasta sottile che si sbriciolava nel piatto insieme alla plastica delle posate ci vuole coraggio. Ci alziamo frettolosamente perché ha iniziato a piovere e non era prevista copertura d'emergenza, andiamo a pagare. Mi è balzato subito all'occhio che il conto non corrispondeva occhio e croce ai prezzi esposti sul menù che allego alla recensioni insieme allo scontrino, ma l'epilogo è stato tutto da vedere. Vado dopo aver chiesto a 5/6 camerieri dal titolare il sig. Marco a chiedere spiegazioni e con un aria scocciata senza fermarsi mi dice che il conto è maggiorato del 10% per la notte rossa ed era scritto sul menu' (mea culpa, anche se scritto in miniatura rispetto alle altre voci, ma c'era) poiché il comune (detto con arroganza, gli chiede 3000 euro per il permesso dei tavoli in piazza). Il mio pensiero è questo: a parte l'arroganza di un titolare che si pone così non l'ho ancora capita, anche perché io sono andato solo a chiedere spiegazioni, ma le domande che mi pongo sono tante: in primis come potete osservare dalle foto, il conto non è maggiorato del 10% ma del 21% e già qui, sei scorretto e capisco perché non ti fermi a dare una spiegazione; punto 2, servi i clienti con posate di plastica ed hai il coraggio di prendere un coperto di 3 euro a persona? La chicca finale la scrivo su raccomandazione del titolare, che in un tentativo di stringermi la mano mi ha detto di non dimenticare nella recensione di scrivere che mi ha mandato a fare in c...o. Ed eccolo accontentato. Avrei molti elementi per proseguire nel disappunto, ma capisco che nella serata dei miracoli Ferrari è compreso quello dell'incasso serale del Carisma che rivedrà, se continuerà con questa politica, alla prossima notte rossa, dove inconsapevoli cittadini si recano a Maranello senza sapere i ristoratori del posto...
